Dr. Waring and his staff at the McGill Vision Center restored my vision to 20/15. The results are better than I expected; my vision is best described as vibrant. Most importantly, I am no longer dependent on glasses and/or contacts.

Dr. Waring and the staff at Magill Vision Center were fantastic. I just completed my 1-year post-LASIK check-in. The surgery itself took minutes to complete and corrected my astigmatism and nearsightedness to 20/15 vision. I could have returned to work the next day, but took the time off, because I had it available. If you're thinking of getting LASIK, I highly recommend Magill Vision Center and Dr. Waring.

I chose Dr. Waring after he performed cataract surgery, Fall 2013, for my husband, who was very pleased with the procedure and his multi-focal lens. My cataracts were impairing my vision so badly I was using only one eye to read and adjusting my glasses to do so. I'd consulted another office 6 months previously and was told my glasses were okay, that I had a cataract in one eye that didn't yet need surgery. I was impressed with such state-of-the art technology Dr. Waring and his well-trained staff use and how painless the surgeries (Mar 4 and 26, 2014) were. Within hours of my surgeries, my vision in both eyes were corrected to 20/25. I have used physicians abroad and throughout the US and have never experienced such a professional staff and physician so dedicated to his patients as I experienced at Magill. I am amazed at how quickly I have adjusted to the multi-focal lens and have no reservations at recommending them.

Dr. Waring performed LASIK surgery on both eyes about a month ago, and I can honestly say that it is a life changing surgery. While the actual surgery took only minutes, I could immediately read the clock on the wall and was back at work the next day. I cannot express what a joy it is to wake up in the morning and be able to see clearly. Not having to struggle with contacts or glasses is truly a gift! I would recommend the Magill Vision Center to anyone with vision problems. Schedule a consultation today. You will not regret it! I debated for 10 years about getting vision correction surgery, the staff and the facility made it an easy decision. The staff and surgeon were accurate with everything that was to be expected during the surgery and during the recovery period. I have had glasses for 40 years and now I have better than 20/20 vision and I could not be happier.

Dr. Waring is simply the best. I had been in glasses/contacts for about 20 years before finally seeking Lasik. I had heard about his office having the most up to date LASIK system in the country, and Dr. Waring is well known and published internationally. My first consultation visit was wonderful. Took about 2 hours. Very diligent using the most up to date systems to measure every nanometer of your eye to be sure they are precise with their recommendations. Luckily I was a perfect candidate. The surgery was painless and the staff was very comforting. Total of incision and reshaping was 12 seconds per eye. Just amazing. The next day I awoke seeing 20/10, something I had NEVER seen before. I am still sitting at 20/15 which is incredible to me. Simply miracle workers. I have incredible gratitude to Dr. Waring and his entire office.

Dear Dr. George Waring and MUSC Storm Eye Institute, I would like to extend my sincere gratitude and thanks during my recent surgery February 9, 2014. Prior to surgery I had limited vision in my right eye, my only seeing eye as I have never seen out of my left eye with congenital blindness. I wore glasses to help my vision but it did not make any significant impact. I was not comfortable with night time driving. Since the surgery, I am able to see 20/20 in my right eye. I do not need to wear glasses on a daily basis. My night time driving has greatly improved. Colors are bright and vibrant. My experience has been wonderful. AMAZING!!! I had Lasik eye surgery performed by Dr. Waring and his staff and I am thankful everyday for my decision to go through with the surgery and Dr. Waring's precise expertise. My vision has had a 100% turn around...no more scrambling to find my eye glasses in the morning or the everyday hassle of wearing contacts. I am completely mesmerized at seeing the world around me; it is true that it's like seeing the world in HD! Dr. Waring and staff were extremely knowledgable, caring, and compassionate; they answered all questions and I felt very confident being in their care. It was an amazing experience!

Dr. George Waring and his staff are incredible! I had LASIK in Summer of 2013 and cannot believe I waited so long to have it done. He and his staff were magnificent in every respect.
