I came to Dr Alfaro at least 20 years ago. He has treated me through all the ensuing years with great proficiency and courtesy and respect. His staff ( in Ladson), are always friendly. It is a pleasure to come for these appointments and I highly recommend him at every opportunity.

I usually would say that I love this doctor and everything but my wife is one of his patients and she's in the hospital and we've been waiting for a whole week just to be told that "he's coming " but still hasn't shown up

Did not return multiple calls to answering service. Did not address the patient's concerns. Did not follow through with a follow up appointment for a chronic condition that can cause blindness.

Dr. Alfaro is the best in the field. Honestly, don't believe any of the negative review, because it is simply not true! In April 2019 I had a torn retina. I searched the internet and called Dr. Alfaro office, they worked me in that same day. He did the laser surgery on my eyes. He is very easy to talk with, he knows what he's doing and the office staff is very caring. I see Dr. Alfaro as a Physician that is willing to help the millennial as they graduate from college. Awesome Doctor!

I had a torn retina . Had been to the dr at lowcountry opposite the retina specialists and they got me in that same morning and Dr alfaro fixed it with a laser. This was on thursday, it is now sunday and my vision has already come back 80% from how it was on thursday. I am so relieved.
