Biography
"I received my M.D. in 2008. At that time, I moved from Hamilton to Toronto to begin my plastic and reconstructive surgery training. I completed my plastic surgery training in 2013 and was board certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada." "In 2013, I moved to Melbourne, Australia, where I did my fellowship in a practice that emphasized aesthetic and non-aesthetic breast and body surgery. Like most plastic surgeons, I was initially focused on reconstructive surgery." "As a surgeon, it is gratifying to offer post-breast cancer reconstruction and similar work. I still enjoy heartwarming satisfaction as I follow my patients through confidence-building journeys in cosmetic surgery. I watch the work I do improve the quality of life for my patients daily, and I’m grateful to have the opportunity." "A part of my fellowship in Melbourne involved microsurgery, sewing blood vessels that are 1.5-3mm in diameter using a microscope. Microsurgery training has directly translated into precision cosmetic surgery, allowing extremely subtle enhancements, minimizing tissue trauma, and speeding up recovery times for my patients." "After completing my fellowship, I entered the physiology program at McGill University. It’s a rigorous program, yet I received an award for the single highest GPA in sciences at McGill." It’s reassuring to know where your procedure will take place, and you’ll enjoy the convenience of recovery and all subsequent visits in one vast space. "Entering my eighth year of plastic surgery practice in Toronto, I’ve had over 12000 patients to date. I maintain an average of 200-300 breast surgeries per year." "Through my five years of residency in Toronto, I was fortunate enough to establish many relationships that grew valuable roots in the medical community. The field of plastic surgery is a relatively small one. I enjoy warm, mutually beneficial connections with colleagues in my field, and our patients benefit from shared knowledge, resources, and referrals." "I have held a faculty position at the University of Toronto since 2015. Since then, I’ve received a Trillium Health Partners teaching award given to a limited number of surgeons based on feedback from residents and medical students. At the prime of my career, I’m enthusiastic about teaching the skills I’ve acquired and mentoring the next generation of aspiring plastic surgeons in Toronto."

Dr. Tutino changed my life. Both my hands were crippled by arthrithis and I had pain 24/7. Surgery was my only hope to fix things.
The process was made easier by the staff who were most helpful, and Dr. Tutino who explained the whole surgical process so that I might understand
Almost miraculously after the surgery the pain disappeared. I could now do all the things I had been unable to do including holding dishes and glasses without dropping them. I was not able to hold a pen to write.
Of course there are so many other daily things that improved too numerous to list.
Finally I felt normal and could do all the things I wanted. I cannot thank you enough for giving my life back!!
