I recently had surgery with Dr. Tutino and have say it was the best decision of my life. After having 2 kids, my breasts were deflated and dropping and I had loose skin on my stomach. I saw Dr. Tutino for breast implants and a tummy tuck. At the consultation he was very kind and took the time to answer all my questions very thoroughly. He explained to me that since I had some drooping of my breasts, it would be best if I had a breast lift with my implants, and boy was he right. I’m about 7 weeks out from my surgery and the results are AMAZING! Dr Tutino is honestly an artist. He has far exceeded my expectations and he said that it’s even gonna get better as things settle. My friends who’ve had similar operations and who have seen my results, say they wished he did their surgery :)
Overall, he is extremely honest and I felt comfortable with him immediately at the consultation. Technically his is amazing and I recommend him to my closest friends.

I approached Dr. Tutino at the TMC--Toronto Minor Surgery--on Dufferin Avenue, Toronto, suffering from advanced carpal tunnel syndrome, which affected my ability to use my fingers effectively. After consultation, Dr. Tutino operated on my wrists--two operations two weeks apart, starting Feb. 6, 2024. Now, over two months later, my incisions have healed and I have full feeling and use of my fingers. After hearing stories about failed carpal tunnel ops, I found the one surgeon to do a first class operation on my hands. Now I can hold a beer glass without fear of dropping it. r. Tutino is an amazing surgeon and human being. He has superlative skill sets for a variety of surgical procedures. In my case he scored a big 10 out of 10 with my pectoral procedure that could not have had a more perfect outcome!. The entire team at Verso Surgery is the best!

Dr. Tutino convinced me not to have both wrists operated on at the same time for Carpal Tunnel. So glad he did! He explained every step and performed an excellent surgery.
Highly recommended 👍

Gives honest opinions. He turned me away for surgery. I wish I would have listened to him.

I spent hundreds of hours of research to choose a plastic surgeon for my abdominoplasty before I made an appointment with Dr.Tutino. When I met him, he was professional and friendly. He actually spent close to 40 minutes answering my questions on my first consult. I had more follow up questions before I finalized my decision and he eased my concerns when I made a follow up visit. I am now 4 weeks post op, and I feel that my results are getting better weekly as I heal with time. I have a beautiful belly button, very clean incision line and a flat stomach with some expected swelling. I had a 6 inch abdominal separation due to pregnancy and some fat on my hips that he lipo'ed for me. His staff are polite and his nurses at Verso surgery are lovely young ladies. Response email time for nurses is 1-2 hours and reception is extremely efficient. I think Dr.Tutino is a hidden gem and I would highly recommend him. I would say one of the strengths of his practice is that he meets with you individually as many times as you need, and listens to your concerns/questions. Some other places, you meet the surgeon on the day of surgery. Thank you to Verso staff and Dr.Tutino.

Terrible result. The wounds opened up. My breasts look deformed and unnatural. I am not satisfied in the slightest. He is very dismissive.

As a result of a congenital hormonal disorder, I had overdeveloped mammaries (male breasts) that I had been self-conscious about for years. Despite years attempting hormonal therapy, strict diet regimens, lowering my body fat per, and working out intensely, I was in the end left with no option but surgery. I was simply hoping for a reduction, but it's as though my chest is like any other in-shape guys. I was floored by the result and cannot recommend Dr. Tutino more highly! This man changed my life and my sense of self. I am forever indebted and grateful. Thank you thank you thank you!!

I only have good things to say about Dr. Tutino! He is kind, professional, and knowledgeable. He took the time to explore my goals and provided me with realistic expectations. He answered all my questions and explained what to expect before, during and after the procedure, making me feel completely comfortable. I didn’t feel any pressure to book with him, but after the initial consultation I knew I was in good hands. The follow-up was above and beyond what I hoped for. I truly felt like Dr. Tutino cared about my well-being and satisfaction. I am incredibly happy with my results and I would highly recommend Dr Tutino!

Biography

"I received my M.D. in 2008. At that time, I moved from Hamilton to Toronto to begin my plastic and reconstructive surgery training. I completed my plastic surgery training in 2013 and was board certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada." "In 2013, I moved to Melbourne, Australia, where I did my fellowship in a practice that emphasized aesthetic and non-aesthetic breast and body surgery. Like most plastic surgeons, I was initially focused on reconstructive surgery." "As a surgeon, it is gratifying to offer post-breast cancer reconstruction and similar work. I still enjoy heartwarming satisfaction as I follow my patients through confidence-building journeys in cosmetic surgery. I watch the work I do improve the quality of life for my patients daily, and I’m grateful to have the opportunity." "A part of my fellowship in Melbourne involved microsurgery, sewing blood vessels that are 1.5-3mm in diameter using a microscope. Microsurgery training has directly translated into precision cosmetic surgery, allowing extremely subtle enhancements, minimizing tissue trauma, and speeding up recovery times for my patients." "After completing my fellowship, I entered the physiology program at McGill University. It’s a rigorous program, yet I received an award for the single highest GPA in sciences at McGill." It’s reassuring to know where your procedure will take place, and you’ll enjoy the convenience of recovery and all subsequent visits in one vast space. "Entering my eighth year of plastic surgery practice in Toronto, I’ve had over 12000 patients to date. I maintain an average of 200-300 breast surgeries per year." "Through my five years of residency in Toronto, I was fortunate enough to establish many relationships that grew valuable roots in the medical community. The field of plastic surgery is a relatively small one. I enjoy warm, mutually beneficial connections with colleagues in my field, and our patients benefit from shared knowledge, resources, and referrals." "I have held a faculty position at the University of Toronto since 2015. Since then, I’ve received a Trillium Health Partners teaching award given to a limited number of surgeons based on feedback from residents and medical students. At the prime of my career, I’m enthusiastic about teaching the skills I’ve acquired and mentoring the next generation of aspiring plastic surgeons in Toronto."
