Unethical, unprofessional, does not follow standard (Canadian) medical procedures, rude, impatient, not empathetic, unorganized, frantic, extremely condescending towards demographics that she seems as beneath her, and as such is judgemental towards them, and unwilling to provide the same standard of care. She is biased towards anyone who has a history of mental health and addiction, even if it was in the past/was treated, and deems them unworthy of adequate medical attention.

Dr. Chetty arrives to clinic, quite regularly, at least half hour late, tries to train new front staff, while waiting room is full. I’ve never seen the same front staff twice in a row. Appears unkempt, shoes not done up, very late with appointments, because she was late starting. Her hair is a whole other matter, very poorly kept , looks matted all the way to her waist, with crumbs in it. Doesn’t wear glasses, because “they don’t work”. Doesn’t have paper on examining tables, says to lay on my clothes, if I’m more comfortable. Quite honestly, she is the worst doctor I have ever encountered. Having a lot of trouble finding a new doctor taking patients.

My doctor of 25 years recently retired, and I was referred by a mutual acquaintance to Dr. Chetty, who kindly accepted me (a real privilege these days!). So far, I have experienced nothing but kindness, thoroughness, and dedication to her chosen profession from my new physician. The only problem in our relationship seems to be that Dr C. spwKA VWEY Dar, NS i m hard-of-hearing! is a fast speaker and I am hard-of-hearing--not a perfect combination in a "doctor-patient" relationship. relationship and frustrating to a professional who wants to get the job done! However, she takes this dilemma with a sense of good humour and patience. I am hopeful that we can build up the same relationship that I had with my previous wonderful family doctor. PS Dr. C;s staff has been unfailingly helpful, reliable, and courteous.

I am 70 years old and have never before encountered a doctor has who has lied to me about not getting faxes for a prescription, which were sent 3 times and continue to lie to me twice in the past few days that fax was sent to the pharmacy. These meds are for anti-depression and most doctors ensure that you do not stop them abruptly.
I attempted to call contact her office for two weeks with no response. Dr. Chetty is holding me hostage to booking a CT scan, I agreed to this scan at first then had to cancel, she is now refusing to fill it unless I reschedule the CT scan. I told her I did not want the CT scan, I plan on filing a complaint this is crazy!!!!

I have been seeing Dr. Chetty for around a year now and I have never once gotten my vitals taken. Also, for a doctor that is licensed, she should be able to look up the medications that her patient is taking and the dosage. Every time I had an appointment, I would have to reiterate what I am taking and my dosage. She never seemed to check, just taking me for my word. Her staff are obviously over worked, which is apparent when you visit the office, but they are not professional. I had her front office worker call me three times for separate things all within an hour while I was at work to ask what medications I am on and my dosage (again, I have told the doctor that info each time I visit) and to ask me the fax number of the pharmacy I go to, which they had the information since the pharmacy had to fax the Dr's office to get clarification on what exactly Dr. Chetty was trying to prescribe. She wanted the pharmacy to indicate how I should taper my medication that she was switching. Her mannerisms in the waiting room are subpar, she will discuss patient information in front of the whole room. I will say that she takes her time with each patient, which is commendable, but she just does not seem to know what she is doing and it shows.

My mother, wife, daughter, and I were going to Dr. Chetty on an on and off basis for years. We have never really been satisfied with her, but couldn't find another family Doctor, so we went to her once in a while instead of a MediCentre. She seems to be in the medical profession for the money and doesn't seem interested in medicine or her patients at all. Everything you need requires an appointment and Dr. Chetty is always late (as long as 1.5 hours). She does not give any real medical advice, but when she tries, it is wrong.

She doesn't like or accept any appointments that involve "messy" medicine ie. if she needs to look at or touch anything below the waist, especially if you are male.

At least she looked and acted professionally when we first started seeing her about 10 years ago. Presently, she has poorly kept dreadlocks and she behaves very strangely and erratically.

Everyone has changed family Doctors and we are better for it. The last holdouts we my mother and wife. My mother quit after Dr. Chetty forced her to attend an appointment so that she could read lab results verbatim for 45 minutes, causing her to miss work during an emergency shutdown at her plant. My wife quit when she was tired of bad advice, having to fight for referrals, and having to suffer Dr. Cherry's flippant attitude that others have it worse, it's just something you need to live with, or it may just go away someday. At least my wife was able to squeeze out a referral to a Specialist who is providing actual medical services for the real and pressing issues that Dr. Chetty didn't want to deal with.

Do yourself a favour and go anywhere else but this Doctor.

I have been seeing Dr Chetty for close to ten years now and find that she is genuinely compassionate about her patients. She is patient and listens to all of your concerns and you never feel like you are rushed. She has been very thorough with the tests she orders and makes sure you understand what the results are upon your return. After I was released from the hospital all care that was forwarded to her was followed through with the necessary care.
After many years of trying to lose weight and keep it off Dr Chetty recognized my extreme struggle and suggested an appropriate medication which helped me lose 70lbs but she first insured that I kept track of what I was eating and check back with her every week. She offered suggestions on how to adjust my intake to help me be more successful in my weight loss journey. I can’t say enough for the compassion she has shown me through some very difficult times and always reassures me that she is if I need anything and to just call. I feel very comfortable speaking to her about any issue I am having! When I leave her office I definitely feel very comfortable and that she would do anything she could to help. I am very grateful for her care and support.

If I could give a zero on everything I would. The staff are nice though! This is the worse doctor I’ve ever been to. So unprofessional, tarty, judgemental, rude, and ignorant. Steer clear. You can find a better doctor who will actually take you seriously, listen, and validate that your experiences are real. Because, “other people have it worse. Get over yourself”doesn’t sit right.
