In Nov 2013 Mr Marando was recommended to me by sister as she had seen the wonderful work he did when she worked at The Bridgewater Hospital. I had always hated my 'Panda eyes' and being a trainer was always conscious of them when teaching in a classroom. Mr Marando recommended an upper and lower blephoraplasty. The results are amazing and I have no visible scarring which was my main concern. I would a million percent recommend Mr Marando for any surgery that will improve your looks and boost your confidence, I am having breast surgery in Dec 2014 and my sister is going for a face lift to which is a testament to work and his skills as a plastic surgeon.

Truly changed my life. Mr Marando is a true professional. I have wanted unilateral gynecomastia since it appeared in 2003. 11 years on and it's finally done. AMAZING COSMETIC SURGEON ,i went to see Mr Marando about having Upper and lower Bleppharoplasty he was so pleasant mad e me feel very comfortable and explained in detail how he would perform the operation i knew there and then that i wanted Mr Marando to do the operation ,i can honestly say its the best money i have spent i look a lot younger and fresher my before and after photos are un believable and the aftercare that Mr Marando provides is also amazing i really cant thank him enough hes made me so happy i feel so much better in myself ,i actually like to look at my eyes in the mirror now where as before i looked constantly tired .a very kind and caring man

I was recommended Mr Marando by a friend, and I have to say I feel so fortunate to have been directed to consult with him. I have always been a petite size 8 with reasonable sized breasts, but after having breast fed 3 children, I was left with little to no breast volume. I constantly wore padded bras, I was also unable to wear certain clothes due to having no cleavage whatsoever. I also workout regularly and with clothes and a padded bra on have been complimented on my figure, but once I took my clothes off at home, I couldn’t even look in the mirror without feeling really despondent about my figure, I just wasn’t balanced at all, and certainly did not feel attractive. I went to see Mr Marando to quite literally get my old breasts (pre children) back. I even took some old photos wearing a bikini to show him the look/size I was after. From the outset Mr Marando made me feel totally comfortable, he fully understood my reasons for visiting him, and talked through all the options fully. I wanted full breasts back but without looking top heavy or someone who had an 'obvious' boob job. He seemed to know instinctively what I wanted, and guided me towards the suitable type/style of implant and I left the actual size of implant to be used up to his discretion on the day of the surgery. I had consulted with other surgeons, and one from a popular clinic had actually left me feeling more depressed about my real body and upset. Mr Marando from my first meeting made me feel so elated and excited at the prospect that he could return my body to how it was. I actually opted for quite a quick surgery date after my consultation, mainly because I had already spent several months researching breast augmentations, and after meeting Mr Marando felt 100% assured I was getting what I wanted. On the morning of my surgery he was concerned I may have rushed my decision, and offered a full refund if I did feel I wasn’t sure in anyway, which was absolutely lovely of him. I did go ahead, and I won’t lie it was painful but the recovery in the grand scheme did not take too long, and within 5 weeks of surgery, with Mr Marando’s agreement, I was back working out. Mr Marando had suggested possibly using 3 different sized implants, and in the end chose the middle sized (330) as he said the larger would have been too large for my frame. His choice is perfect, all my friends have said they look fantastic, not too large but enough to give me a real figure, and it’s great because the implants give great fullness to the breast. It is like being 23 again now when choosing clothes to go out in the evening again, as I have the option to go braless. I also fit into all my old clothes, the only things I have needed to replace were bras and swimwear. I was not a person a few years ago who would have ever considered any form of plastic surgery, but after getting so down about my body decided to, it took several months to decide it was for me and it has been the best decision of my life. I feel womanly, and confident and feel like me again. Mr Marando has been amazing, I felt completely secure in his expertise in choosing the right implants for me. He has always talked through everything fully, and never rushed any consultation. I was also very happy with the Bridgewater Hospital where I had my surgery, and the level of care I received. His aftercare has been absolutely brilliant, and he is quite simply a lovely lovely caring man.

I would just like to say how wonderful Dr Marando is,, This was my 2nd breast augmentation. I visit 3 surgeons in Manchester before deciding to have my operation with Dr Marando. From my first visit with him he was the true professional nothing was too much trouble. My first consultation was over an hour where we discussed what i was looking to achieve. He listened to everything i had to say and showed such interest and concern throughout the consultation. I had another consolation before my surgery where pictures were taken once again and computer images were shown, implants shown.. I had PIP'S under the muscle and wanted to change. He advised under the muscle this time. My operation was performed at the Bridgewater hospital and from start to finish it was perfect. The whole of Dr Marando's staff were courteous and professional at all times and my comfort was paramount throughout. I now wonderful shaped breasts and am very very happy. I cannot express how good Dr Marando is.

Underwent secondary breast augmentation after initial operation in 2006. Wanted more volume. Saw several surgeons and found Mr Marando to be the right one from the first meeting. All of my questions were answered (more than once!) and my nerves understood and managed from the offset. I went from 345 sub-glandular in 2006 to 560 sub-muscular and the result is perfect.Mr Marando is not just an excellent surgeon, but a very kind and genuine man. From the start of my consultation process all throughout, he has taken the time to listen and take note of my concerns. I am a nervous patient and this was understood and more than accommodated for by both Mr Marando and the team at the hospital. I am now going to have my non-surgical procedures with Mr Marando as I completely trust him. I would not hesitate in recommending him to anybody.

Mr Marando is first and foremost a beautiful person inside and out and I feel lucky to have had the pleasure of meeting him and after much research and many consultations with other surgeons, I decided after our first consultation I had met my man so to speak! Not only because he is an accomplished, skilled surgeon who is very passionate about what he does but because he was the only surgeon out of 6 others who was honest with me about realistic results, and also did not press for or mention deposits, dates etc, he actually encouraged me to wait and think long and hard about my decision. What sets Mr Marando aside from any other plastic surgeon…….he listens and he is honest. He is extremely receptive to everything that you tell him and he is very straight forward and honest. I could not be happier with the results of my breast lift and Implants, My Scars are hardly visible and I am only 6 weeks post op, every aspect of my experience was Perfect.

I can’t say enough great things about Dr Marando! Over a period of about 2 years I saw a number of surgeons regarding a tummy tuck/abdominoplasty and I was beginning to wonder if I’d ever get it done - it was so important to me to find a surgeon that a) I could connect with and b) someone that I could feel comfortable performing such a major procedure on me – I’m sure this is a natural expectation for all patients? Which is why it surprised me how many surgeons I saw that lacked that humane touch but instead had glazed over eyes and looked bored of answering the same old questions. Dr Marando has been so generous with his time! I’m nearly through recovery and he has been incredible, start to present, amazing - he has exceeded all my expectations!!!
