Awesome Dr spends alot of time with his patients and shows he cares ... Lol as for the receptionist comment that receptionist is a nurse haha she is there to make u more comfortable and also to avoid any legal issues as many drs get blamed for assault when being assessed by the dr ....just a little education there for you ;) some people seriously !!

Very impressed with Dr. Narine and Stevenson Hospital!! As I live in Barrie, I had initially wanted to be seen by an OB/GYN at RVH but was able to see Dr. Narine 7 weeks earlier than someone at RVH! I required laparoscopic surgery for a cyst removal which I was quite anxious about. Dr. Narine was empathetic, well informed and a great surgeon - I can barely see the incision marks! What I really appreciated was his timeliness and professionalism - never had to wait for my appointments, he didn't rush me and answered all my questions thoroughly. I was provided with his direct phone in case I had any questions. I also got great service the day of surgery from all the staff at Stevenson. In the future, I will have no issue with driving down the highway to Stevenson & Dr. Narine!

I was very impressed. He took a lot of time to ask me questions and did tests necessary to figure out why I was having the issues I was. Now I am pregnant and he is the only Dr I want to see.It shows how much he cares about his patients.

I would most definitely recommend Dr. Narine. I am one of the most self conscious people when it comes to showing my private parts, even with my own husband & Dr. Narine made my experience very comfortable. I also agree 100% with the other ladies about how knowledgeable/helpful he is when it comes to answering the questions I am concerned about. He is never in a rush like most doctors you may go to, he takes the time to explain everything he has to say in a way for you to understand. I have now had 2 children at the Alliston hospital. My youngest being only 6 weeks old, And thanks to Dr. Narine's knowledge when it comes to labour/delivery I was out of the hospital the same day of having my son who was born weighing a big 8lbs. 15 oz(with a great recovery of no stitches/tearing) I would not hesitate for even a second to refer him to all those who are expecting nor would I go anywhere else if I decided to have another child! Thanks Dr.Narine & Staff!

I did not have a great experience with this doctor. I will not go to a male ob/gyn again after seeing him. The examination itself was uncomfortable and he claimed to have trouble 'finding my cervix' so it took longer. While he was examining me, the receptionist came into the room and talked to him about another patient - she was in full eye-view of my private areas during the examination and he didn't say anything to her. When I said something, he pulled out, took his gloves off and threatened to stop the procedure to "protect his practice." I urged him to continue, as the worst part was over and I had already been humiliated- I did not want to leave without results. After he left with the swabs he'd taken, he did not come back into the room as doctors normally do. I sat waiting there for a while before the receptionist (the same one who'd barged in during the exam) called me out, and handed me requisitions I needed with no further explanation.

Dr. Narine is a great doctor!! He was very empathetic and knowledgable about my health issue. He listened and was able to provide me with options and gave me the choice in the end. I would recommend him. It was great that he had no wait list because he just moved here!

Dr. Andy Narine was very helpful with a gynocological problem that I had. He took the time to listen and answer all of my questions, and explained exactly what might be causing my problem. He also made me feel very comfortable, which I appreciate because normally I prefer to see a woman doctor, but he was totally professional. The wait time to get in to see him was also short, thank goodness, because I was actually scheduled to see someone else in Toronto, who had me waiting for like 4 months while my problem (which had a very simple solution) got worse and worse... Anyways, I am thankful for his help and would definitely would recommend him.
