We hold medical professionals to a higher standard then then the rest of the world, we expect them to be more knowledgeable, professional and compassionate. When you have to be seen by an Oncologist it is generally at the most difficult hour in your life. You do not want a Doctor or to treat you like "cattle" you want to be treated with respect and compassion. I thank God that my families experience was short lived with Dr. Diamond and here is why: 1) in-correct information on file, had wrong treatment scheduled (for wrong cancer) 2) Doctor was unprofessional taking personal calls during consultation (about cancer treatment) we weren't buying widgets here 3) No one had taken 5 minutes to review a file prior to the consultation 4) Mid meeting the doctor left the office for over 10 minutes. You do not chose to have cancer, but you can absolutely chose who you are to receive treatment from.
