Dr Murray brings over 25 years of dedicated full-time experience to the field. As one of the first full-time cosmetic surgery practices in Australia, Absolute Cosmetic has treated more than 100,000 patients. In regard to liposuction in particular, Dr Murray has personally performed more than more than 8,000 liposuction procedures. He has had extremely comprehensive training with Dr. Pierre Fournier and Dr. Sydney Coleman, just to name a few, using his own funds and resources, without reliance on taxpayer funds.
We understand the concerns regarding qualifications in cosmetic surgery. It's important to note, however, that as of now, there are no approved programs of study specifically for cosmetic surgery. This highlights the value of extensive, dedicated training and experience in the field.
Furthermore, statistics from an ACCSM post, based on data collected by AHPRA from July 2018 to July 2021, indicate that 37% of notifications against medical practitioners related to cosmetic surgery involved plastic surgeons, and 52% involved those registered as surgical specialists. These figures underscore the complexity of the field and the necessity of choosing a practitioner with extensive experience like Dr Murray's.

I have been seeing Dr Murray annually for the past 13 years and have had various procedures on my face and neck. I have always found Dr Murray to be incredibly kind and caring . He is always punctual for my appointments and the aftercare he provides post surgery is second to none. I have never been disappointed with any of the procedures that Dr Murray has carried out. He is also well supported by all the wonderful staff at Absolute Cosmetics . I am often told that I do not look my age and it is my opinion that has more to do with Dr Murray and his team than good genes!

I went for lipo and was also talked into renuvion to tighten skin for several thousand extra dollars. Very, very unhappy with results. I have obvious divots and lumps, can see where the cannulas went in, and am now embarrassed of my body far more than I was before. When I went back, I felt my feedback and concerns were trivialised and minimised. Wish I had never done the surgery. Years after surgery, nothing has improved. I can see why they make people sign a social media policy.

Paid $15,000 for laser
Body sculpture, ended up with water blockages , had to go back get drained. Also results were terrible leaving divots in my stomach. I’m not a big person so it was noticeable , was embarrassed to

First off, the nurses are lovely beautiful ladies. Second, I am extremely happy with the results of my surgery I had done, could not have asked for better. BUT, I also during the ‘big’ surgery wanted a particular smaller surgery done. The smaller surgery is now WORSE than before, he simply did not do what I asked and if he could not do what I wanted he should have discussed with me and given me options before charging me 1500 for the thing to be made worse, I am so unhappy about it and I genuinely feel he KNOWS he messed up but won’t admit it. He belittles me often and makes me feel stupid, I am a very intelligent person, I may be young but I am not a stupid naive person. Do not be made to feel silly for your concerns ladies and MAKE SURE he knows exactly what you want.

Used Dr Murray for my breast augmentation. Having absolutely no prior knowledge of the procedure or Dr Murray, I can safely say I couldn't have had a better surgeon fir my procedure. Throughout the entire process he was highly professional and very knowledgeable in this area. Ive since had my procedure and I honestky cannot describe judt how amazing a job he did. They are absolutely perfect in every way. I've had absolutely no pain since it was done. Aesthetically they look so natural like ive had them my entire life. They are a perfect shape and size and they actually do match my given my age of almost 45. The man truly is an artist in this field and im beyond happy. Thankyou so much

Never had such a arrogant, utterly rude and unprofessional so called 'doctor' in my life. Came to him for help and instead got ridiculed and told i look like a drug addict. Even once visibly upset he still kept putting me down making me feel even more worthless.
