Horrible and dismissive to my serious health problems for lack of better words basically told me to get over it and offered me no solutions I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS DOCTOR EVER

He is now at "Pulse: Complete Cardiac Care" in Victoria, B.C. Arrogant man, very late, very dismissive, had clearly NOT read the referral letter from my GP. He had glanced at some of the electronic records from the hospital, clearly had not read any of the conclusions, was indifferent to my chest pain and shortness of breath and swelling legs. No follow up plan - just the fastest and least effective appointment on the planet - leaving me with absolutely NO hope. Except to find a functional cardiologist - which he clearly is NOT.

He said to me when did you have your heart surrgery..I told him i have nve had heart surgery...I cant beleive thisi...You are a Dr or Not...Spend some time to know you patient or their
conditions

The 2 times that I actually talked to Dr. Gladstone he was great. Getting through to him or his office, however is an absolute joke. After my echocardiogram I was having breathing problems along with severe fatique and I tried to call his office - 18 times where no one answered the phone. During my 2nd phone appt. with him, he was to set up an angiogram. 8 days after this phone appt. I finally called the hospital to see if I had an appt. with them for the angiogram but alas, no appt. i finally got through to his assistant and she appeared to never had read his notes but did so while I was on the phone. She told me that she would call me the next day and do a preliminary review with me prior to sending to the hospital for final appt. time for angiogram. Still waiting at noon. I believe Dr. Gladstone is a competent doctor but it is his name on the door and he is therefore responsible for everything that goes on in his office. Before you can fix it (and it certainly needs fixing in my opinion) he needs to see the problem. Now rather than later before someone really suffers severe heart issues while just waiting to have someone live actually answers the phone.

i had Dr Gladstone in emergency, after i left the hospital, i spoke with him once. i tried to get him after that and he and his rude receptionist never got back to me, because of that i could get back to work when i wanted costing me a lot of money as E.I said i could go back, that was last august , i never heard from him again, no tests no follow up no nothing , now I'm with telus health , was hoping to get off some of these pills, but because i was not looked after , I'm basically starting over, i think he needs a new occupation, he really is bad at this one

Dr Gladstone may be a competent cardiologist but he does not explain my condition thoroughly to me and clearly does not want to answer my questions about my test results. He keeps his patients waiting a long time in his office and then tries to get thru the appointment as quickly as possible. He is very personable but I would like more information about my test results, my current status and my prognosis.

Dr. Gladston is an expert in his field . He saved my husbands life recognizing that he was about to have a hert attack and caught it in time. He really is an amazing Dr. and we have great fth in him.
