I label him a Narcissist. His attitude is one of entitlement, knowing it all, demeening, rude, uncaring, and dismiissive. In fact he has been wrong many times, has never acknowleged that and has not even cared.
Please please please do not use him. You will be very sorry.

I have suffered with depression for decades, with numerous medications tried. He was the only physician that was able to help me but putting me on the right med, at the right dose, where psychiatrists were not doing that. Certainly knows his depression, and thankful he is our family doc, as he saved my life. I read previous reviews and sorry these people didn't listen to is advice

Less than good. We agree with the bad reviews. Our experiences were similar
A very ego driven man who is tired and careless.
Find somewhere else to go if you want better care.

I totally agree with the review that said he was “cocky” and had increased his medication strength, because he displayed the same ego arrogance toward me and increased my drug dosage even though it was not helping me at all. I was a patient of his for at least 15 years.,
He changed so much over the last 3/4 years from an effecient doctor to a very dismissive, ego filled, rude and irritable man. Rather entitled attitude as well. I could no longer trust him. He showed almost that he was suffering from personal emotional issues and he put his patoients on the back burner.
I left him and a few more of his patients whom I knew. left him as well.
We lost confidence in him.
From a good doctor he turned into a sad, unhappy little man, and he is rather little and not very
impactful. This transferred to his diagnostic ability
which became quite bad.
Best to find another dictor to go to!!!
I give him no more than a ne out of 10.

He is very cocky and thinks he is as he told me in his own words, "the best psych MD in Ontario". He didn't spend more than 5 minutes before determining what medication I should be on. He jumped me from one medication to the next when the medication wasn't helping me and didn't spend any time listening to my actual needs. The jumping from one medication to the next made me very very ill. He never recommend I see a physiatrist who specializes in the field of mental health, nor did he ever refer me out when he realized he was unable to help me. When I decided I needed a second opinion as I was getting sicker and sicker, he took it very poorly and told me he would now no longer continue caring for me. By me taking the initiative to seek help and get a second opinion from another professional I apparently bruised his big ego, because he then told me I need to find another family doctor as he is starting to "cut" his hours. I had been a loyal patient of his for over 25 years. I found his behaviour very unprofessional and unless you're willing to stroke his very big ego you are no longer worthy to him. I feel very disappointed by his lack of care.

Three generations of my family have been seeing him for 30 years
He answers our emails off ours if important (ie family member in hospital).
He has treated our mental illness, cancer , heart issues and Covid
I know how lucky our family is to have him, and we just hope he never retires

Knowledgeable, great follow up and overall care
I’ve read these negative review s and I can tell you my family and I feel blessed. I suspect these negative reviews are patients that have been rude, which I know he won’t accept.

Not good. Missed or did not take serious symptoms into consideration despite many attempts of him being told. Lack of knowledge? Pure complacency? Dismissive? I do not know. Maybe all of them. I do know to tell you to go elsewhere. His diagnosis has been incorrect and that is dangerous and very scary.

Without a doubt the most caring compassionate man and doctor I know. He took great care of my late parents and our family. What an incredible man
