Suggested aggressive chemotherapy to an 85 year old male, with cancer of the esophagus. Why? It would have made much more sense to recommend paliation. The chemo gave the patient pulmonary fibrosis. After over 3 weeks of ICU and on a respirator, the patient succumbed. And Dr. Cheng never once visited this patient on Washington Hospital.

I have been a patient for the past 8yrs. battling cancer. Dr. Cheng has always been there for me and wants nothing but the best medicine available to treat me--so far we are winning the battle. His kindness and compassion for my well being has never failed to encourage me to keep on going. Dr.Cheng has always kept me informed of what to expect from different treatments through the years. I respect his knowledge and kindness he shows to me and all of his patients that I have known during our treatments, they feel exactly as I do. Dr.Cheng's staff has always made themselves available to make any kind of appointments that were needed for me without questions.

Always in a rush to be finished. You wait for 30 minutes for 1 minute of his time. Staff does not give receipts for copay and then claim you did not pay. STAY AWAY.
