Dr. Myerson is the best in my opinion. I have had 15 surgeries on my foot and ankle after a car accident caused compound fractures throughout my foot and ankle. I had been through PT many different times, acupuncture, tens units, medications etc. including a fusion, & then finally a failed Total Ankle Replacement. It was that surgeon that did the replacement that referred me out of state to Dr. Myerson in Baltimore.
It took him 3 surgeries over a year to give me my walk and my life back. Amazingly Dr. Myerson was able to do what 3 other surgeons said was impossible. one had said my only choice was amputation . He kept in touch with me by pictures and emails after to monitor my recovery....

My husband, my daughter and I met Dr Myerson for a consultation, within 4-5 minutes of meeting him we all agreed he would do my surgery. After 5 failed surgeries with another surgeon this was my last shot at saving my foot. Dr M was professional, so confident and knowledgeable that I knew this man was my saviour. He did an excellent job. I am walking I am enjoying life again after 4 yrs of surgeries, infections and failures. I can never thank Dr M enough. Just a great, talented amazing man. Forever grateful.

I travelled from Toronto, Cda, after 5 failed ankle surgeries for a consultation with Dr Myerson. Within 4-5 minutes of meeting with him we (husband and daughter) decided unanimously that I would have Dr M do my surgery. He was so confident, knowledgeable, understanding of my overwhelming doubt there was no second thought, this was the man to help me. The surgery went very well, it was a huge challenge for him, but according to Dr M "I love a challenge". That was 2 1/2 yrs ago, I am now walking - after 3 1/2 yrs of non weight bearing struggles. This man is/was my saviour, I can never write enough about him to let him know how truly thankful and grateful I am.. My children and my 16 grandchildren thank him every day. Kindest regards

On Sept 6, 1996, Dr. Myerson was able to perform a rare surgery on my left foot to allow me to prolong my high level of running over twenty more years. After being diagnosed with a non-union sesamoid on the ball of my left foot, he performed a bone graft to strengthen the sesamoid. The surgery was a success and his care has always been extremely professional with Frank explanations on the options and the pros and cons. Dr. Myerson is a rare breed that borders between solid proven techniques who is not afraid to use progressive techniques to treat his patients. Among my accomplishments in the past five years alone have been the Marine Corps, New York and Boston marathons, Lake Placid Ironman, several 200-mile running relays, summit of Mt. Rainier in Washington State, and a recent trek to Everest Base Camp and Island Peak (elev 20,300 ft) in Nepal. It has been a pleasure having him as my orthopedic surgeon and friend over the years.

I was just looking up the name for the treatment he attempted on my OA ankle in 2007 (as part of getting ready to see a new doc now in 2018) and saw that he'd been sued. Read the complaint and said, yep, I had same experience. He and his staff are completely absent post procedure. I have permanent nerve damage and my ankle pain did not improve. It was a poor experience. Stay away from this practice unless he is gone and they've changed their post procedure approach. I am btw a former attorney and now RN. I know what I'm talking about. Good luck with your pain, hang in there.

Be careful, he doesn't do your surgery. His fellow (a dr he is training) does it. They fail to disclose that (verbally) to you ahead of time.

Get them in, get them out. That would be the slogan for this doctor's office. I'm sure he has helped many, but heaven forbid your surgery is not successful. He will not give you the time of day when it is done. Bedside manner is non-existent. I had to cut my losses and find another surgeon.
