Dr. Donald Shirley was my surgeon who was very good but he retired. Dr. Cowie is now my surgeon and he performed gallbladder surgery on me. He explained everything and surgery went very smoothly and he is personable, would highly recommend him to anyone needing surgery. Also much thanks to office staff Christine and Michelle, professional and friendly.

Dr. Cowie took a biopsy of a lymph node under local anesthetic and removed the stiches after 2 weeks. The scar was almost unnoticeable. He explained everything that was going on during the procedure.

Dr. Scott Cowie performed a colorectal resection on Sept. 2, 2020 to remove a cancerous part of my colon. From the first consultation to after surgery he was information, and clearly had my best interests at heart. He gave me a contact number to reach him directly if I had any post operative issue. On Sept. 29, I had a bulge behind a operation scar, so sent him a message at 6:00AM. He responded, suggesting I go to emergency, which I did. When the test were done, he came to see me in emergency at 7:30PM to assure me that the issue did not require more surgery and was an infection that could be treated with antibiotics. You can't ask for better service than that. His office staff also helped provide me the documentation to file a claim for a critical illness insurance policy I had, which was approved 1 day after it was submitted.

My husband had A colonoscopy he said he was quick and did not hurt at all even though he received less medicine then usual. This is my husbands 3rd one with different doctors in the past and these has been the best. Excellent, very informative and kind Dr.

I had a gallbladder removing surgery. I felt so lucky to get a surgery from Dr Cowie. He explained everything easily so I could understand procedures. I am a chicken when it comes to a health issue but he convinced that I can trust him and his decision. I am so grateful to meet him and the surgery result is awesome!!
