whatever you do, do not even waste your time scheduling an appointment with Jill Woodham — my first appointment with a real t1 endocrinologist in Atlanta they told me that this NP was “trying to kill me” after looking at the insanely high insulin rate she had me on. I had undiagnosed hypothyroidism that she did not even think to check, and constantly tried to talk me into using a different, older pump that I did not want because that’s all she would work with (at each appointment I had to write down my blood sugars for the previous two weeks before and that is all she would look at to make any adjustments) — the WORST diabetes care I have ever experienced, I have permanent distrust of medical professionals because of people like her...if you have any type of diabetes you are likely better off listening to your body and taking care of yourself because she does not know the first thing about diabetes

I have recently moved from Dothan to Florida. The Nurse practitioner with the Endocrinologists office in Florida has new information ( new to me) on diabetes that has my blood sugars running 80 to 120 and reduced my insulin intake to 70% less than what Jill had me taking She did that in 3 weeks!!!!!! Jill wanted me to go see her friend who specializes in weight loss( that insurance did not pay for) for $250.00 a month. I did not know any better and thought I was just doomed to an early grave. Now the outlook is AMAZING. Have also lost 25 lbs!! Please look around and ask friends, family and locals about Doctors and their staff to get the best help you need
