Worst drs office I’ve ever visited bar none. I use the word dr loosely. The dr is a quack & should have retired years ago—clearly he has checked out & hasn’t studied dermatology since the dark ages. He was disrespectful while looking at my skin. He just helped himself to my body without asking my permission nor allowing me to choose how I would show him. He was touching me with his bare hands & without first sanitizing. I felt violated. He didn’t listen to me or my concerns. He decided it’s mental before even talking to me. They were very combative & rude the moment we walked in the door. Making a big deal about masks when the dr himself doesn’t wear a mask. They refused to let us wait in the waiting room, gave us attitude when we asked how they wanted this to work since they are acting in the front office like it’s still 2020. We’re not in a pandemic anymore, wake up! They care more about masks and social distancing than patient care.

I had visited Dr. Rheim for an annual skin check (along with my partner). We both left the visit flabbergasted and disturbed in the Doctor's bedside manner and his lack of thoroughness of the skin check (every other skin-check I had was for the full body and provided patients a gown to change into, here they advised against it). He spent more time asking us irrelevant questions about where we grew up and what we do than he did actually examining us. And while I appreciate the fact that he was trying to build a personal connection, that doesn't compensate for the fact that he didn't do his job right. I would STRONGLY avoid seeing him. I know we are not the only ones who had this issue.

I saw him pee in a local park parking lot, in front of my car. He probably didn't realize I was there b/c his back was turned peeing into the bushes but it still was awkward. I was irritated too because the public bathroom was less than an 1/8 of a mile walk.
I was always pleased with the care I received in the past, but now it seems too awkward to see him again.

Do Not go to this Doctor. My wife has scars on her face because of him. Office staff is very rude and disrespectful too. Spare yourself the grief of any contact with Rheim Dermotogy

Never go to this Doctor. Dr and Staff are extremely unprofessional and rude. Diagnosis incorrect and not respect or regard for patient health. DO NOT go to this Dermotogy Group; you will regret it in every way. Very unprofessional and disinterested in anything but collecting large fees. Sickening experience that I hope you never have.

My son went to Dr. James Rheim. he had some large brown raised spots on his face and back. Dr. Rheim was very through and explained the procedure and and the results. We are so thankful for what Dr. Rheim did for our son. Dr. Rheim had the spots tested and there was no cancer cells growing. He has healed and the results are amazing. We are very pleased with his knowledge and caring of our son.

I came in to get a few items checked out including a bump under my skin. Dr. Rheim assured me it was nothing to worry about and let me know he could remove it for me if I wanted. I was very firm in that I only wanted it removed if the scar that would replace it would be smaller than the bump already there. He said there would be no scar or possibly minimal scarring but that it would definitely be smaller than the bump. I agreed to have it removed and a few months later, not only was there larger bump but a large scar to go with it. After expressing my displeasure with the procedure I was referred to the office manager, Caroline. She didn’t listen and didn’t care about my concerns and got upset with me when I tried to talk with her about it. She said if I didn’t pay it, my bill would be transferred to a collection agency. Since I was refinancing my home and didn’t want anything to hit my credit report, I was forced to pay it. I do not recommend this doctor!

As I entered the office parking lot at closing time I saw Dr. Rheim heading for his car to go home. I rolled down my window and mentioned my problem. He immediately returned with me to his office and responded to the problem. An excellent physician.

Dr. Rheim is incredibly professional, friendly and eager to help. Over the years, he has diagnosed and treated several skin conditions and referred me to an excellent surgeon when I needed something removed. I would not hesitate to refer a friend to him.
