Doctor was unwilling to write a 'letter of medical necessity' for an OTC medication without an office visit & physical. This letter is now required for reimbursement from Flexible Spending Accounts for ANY OTC meds. Citing "doctor's policy" I would have been obligated to not only the office visit but a full physical when I have no medical condition that warrants visiting the physician. Thank you "Affordable Care Act" (and a ridiculous doctor policy) for causing me lost time & my insurance company lost money solely to pad the doctor's pockets with needless (and useless) office visits. 1's across the board from me.

I like Dr Neufeld very much. He's a good listener and he uses good practical sense for his diagnoses. If he has questions or is unsure he is will gladly refer you to a specialist and even make the appointment for you if needed. I like that he has his staff draw blood on site which saves me a trip to the blood lab. He's very easy to talk to and I don't feel intimidated by him. He makes me comfortable and I am able to speak honestly and truthfully about things that are bothering me. I've found that if I come prepared with written notes I can quickly get to the point(s) for my visit and it saves time and repetition for the Dr. I think he appreciates this and is able to come to a conclusion more efficiently when he refers to my notes. There are not many Doctors like him around and I am grateful he is my physician.

Dr. Neufeld's office takes most insurance. I've been going to him for over 10-years. He is easy to talk to, he listens, and it's easy to get a Saturday appointment. During one visit, I came in with a "list." I told him, "you might want to take a seat" since I had a few things to discuss. He quickly pulled up a chair and replied "what's going on?" with a concerned look on his face. He's never rushed me whenever I have something to discuss. If I have blood work done, he usually calls within a few (3) days after the visit with the results. A few days later, I'll get a copy of the results in the mail. Finally, he's office is at 72nd/CPW, which is just down the road from where I live.
