If you want a quality ENT service, DO NOT...and I repeat DO NOT go to see Dr. Rabkin. Few months ago I visited him for a consultation on my occasionally bleeding nose. First thing that struck me was lack of privacy. While I was being attended to, the door was wide open and everybody in the waiting area could hear what we were talking about. Anyway, I spent exactly 4 min in his office while he took a quick look in my nose and prescribed me Saline spray. Few weeks later I get a bill from my insurance company charging me $100 CoPay for a surgery. I was like what??? $100 for what??? for saline spray prescription?? I tried to argue with the billing lady Lyuba to no avail. She is a rude, greedy lady. All they want is money money!! This whole office is all about money rather than quality service. I definitely do not recommend Dr. Rabkin to anyone who is looking for quality ENT services and humane approach.

I had the same situation as the other people here in terms of the doc jumping from room to room and not really talking to me. The biggest disappointment for me though was that instead of examining my chronic sinusitis problem to see what was causing it, he tested me for allergies and told me that I needed to go for allergy shots. No CT, no X-Ray, he immediately assumed it was allergies. I went to an allergy specialist for a second opinion, and guess what? No allergies here! The allergist sent me for a sinus CT which showed that I had a deviated septum, enlarged adenoids and enlarged turbinates. I surgically corrected this (with a diff ENT) and been great ever since. Good thing I went for a second opinion, otherwise I'd still be going to Dr. Rabkin (who is not even an allergy specialist) for allergy shots like an idiot instead of actually breathing with my nose!

We went to see this doctor for my daughter who's been having chronic sinusitis for about a year. The doctor literally saw us for 3 minutes, no questions asked, he barely examined my daughter in a rude tone of voice ordered her to keep her hands away (my daughter is 3 years old). During the exam he didn't ask a single question. His conclusion - she has an awful infection needs 2 weeks of antibiotics and nasonex. My daughter just recently got off antibiotics and currently shows no sign of infection other than she can't breathe with her nose because she seems to have adenoid conditions. And yet, no suggestion of natural treatments, nothing. It seems like to this doctor it's pure business, he's got about 5 offices around the city. What else surprised me, no patients waiting in the office, of course, he is done with them in such short time. I

I went to Dr R. several times & found him to be a very good doctor. He was always nice & smiling, good bedside manner. Ordered every possible test to find out what was wrong with me, and actually took care of my problem. I never felt rushed in his office though I had to wait about 30 minutes to be seen but it is not that important to me. Having my problem taken care of was much more important!

I have used Dr. Rabkin for several years. I too have also found that he goes from room to room, HOWEVER, I find him to be an excellent doctor! He has always prescribed the correct regimen to alleviate whatever ENT problem I had. His PA, Marsha Lelchuk, is also extremely competent and I am just as comfortable being seen by her. I find the staff there to be friendly, helpful and polite. I have recommended Dr. Rabkin to others and will continue to do so.

Yea,this guy will order this camera-in-your-nose test that some insurances dont cover that isnt totally necessary. He knew I was out of network with my old insurance and i wound up paying $500 for this. He bs-ed alot and wasnt attentive at all. DO not recommend. He only cares to make money and nothing else.

Very similar experience to a previous poster - the doctor was "jumping" between rooms with different patients, only spending a couple of minutes with me (and other patients as well). Plus the waiting room was pretty small and crowded. All together, it really felt like being at ER room of a generic hospital rather than at the proper doctor's office.

Waiting room was crowded, though it was flu season. The wait was about 30-45 minutes. The nurse took patients in groups of two and split us up in different rooms. Then he went between each room back and forth rather than devoting the time to truly speak to me. I felt rushed, like he didn't have time for me and at any minute was going to leave, which is exactly what happened, he spent no more than 5 minutes with me. Though he acted pleasant, he didnt truly seem to listen. Neither did his nurse, who kept asking me if I had symptoms that I repeatedly said I didn't. Then he performed a test I wasn't sure was necessary (and billed insurance $400) and prescribed some saline drops which the nurse then tried to sell me at a "discount", but when he heard this, he told her no, those were for allergies only. She was new and in training, so I can understand. But after this visit, I felt worse. What he prescribed didn't work and I did not trust him enough to return, so I went to see another doctor.
