Very arrogant man, I wouldnt send my pet to him. He has no bedside manner, and has some sort of disability with his hand, how can he operate safely one would have to ask. Unless drs are good listeners and he is not , stay clear

This doctor claimed I tore my rotator cuff by simply getting out of bed. Other orthopaedics have stated that's not anatomically possible. Perhaps Dr Duke is senile and needs to retire now?

I had a pyro titan shoulder replacement back in 2015 and could not be happier. The operation was a breeze as well as the recovery. My shoulder is in perfect condition and has not given me any pain since the operation. Although DrDuke is no longer performing surgery I still see him for regular check ups on my shoulder and find him down to earth and a pleasure to chat with.

I have a branchial plexus injury following a pyrotitan implant. Duke was the surgeon. Following the operation Duke told me nerves don't like to be messed with and the burning feeling in my hand would resolve with time. 11 weeks post op he told me "it was phantom pain". I have since been diagnosed with a brancial plexus injury and lateral cord damage. 18 months after the Duke op, the pyrotitan implant was replaced interstate with a TSR. My shoulder is a mess and the pain is unbearable especially at night. The surgeon looking after me now says my arm is so badly damage that there are no surgical options left for me. I am now to live my life in pain. I am so tormented by the way I was treated. I stood a good chance of overcoming the nerve injury if it had been treated when it occured. His diagnosis of phantom pain was an a!! covering exercise that has left me with a permanent disability. I wish I had never heard of Phillip Duke or Pyrotitan.

I had to visit this quack for Workcover case, very rude and shuts you down when you attempt to explain your ongoing issues. Very apparent that he is being paid by Workcover as all of his "findings" are geared towards saving money for Workcover. There is no way he can give a true unbiased report, when he won't let you talk freely. I really don't know how he sleeps peaceful at night knowing the lies he puts in his reports severely effect peoples lives. Very arrogant man.

Could not speak highly enough of Phillip, I have had 5operations on my fingers by Phillip, always found him to be most caring & has a great humour. I had to fly to Brisbane for an emergency op on my fingers by myself & Phillip sat with me out side the operating theatre & explained what was going to happen to me , gave me meds to calm me down & sat with me till I went into theatre, couldn’t ask for a nicer Doctor, found his staff to be very nice ladies too.

I attended an appointment my mother had with this doctor. Incredibly rude , arrogant and disrespectful. Leaving the appointment I was upset for my mother being treated as a patient in that manner. This man is not interested in providing patient care.

Sent to him for work-cover. During the consultation he stated 'if I had to listen to every complaint or pain from every person I see I'd only be able to write one report a day'. I don't understand how a person can decide the future of someone's health with this in mind

He attempted to coerce and intimidate me into changing a response if he didn't like it. He will not provide context to the question he is asking even if it is requested. I strongly suggest you avoid attending any examination with this alleged doctor. Despite anything they say you are permitted to have a support person and you will need it to verify any report produced by this shill. This practitioner views pain medication as narcotics and will attempt to use this as a tactic to bully you. Nor will he permit you to attempt to speak freely.

He is a rude and arrogant person who is not acting in anyway as an impartial examiner. In no way is this practitioner acting with any regard to a human beings health. It appears his sole focus is to invoice reports for insurers.
