Maybe his knowledge is more than one star, I could not see that . I tried to get some words
out of him because that was the reason I went to see him. There is a reason man does't want to talk. Later on his office told me that he does not wish to see me again, of course I understood since I knew his superior doctor that John worked under him, gave the complete report of that session. This happened many years ago just could not forget that.

Probably one of the most knowledgeable doctors in this area regarding medicine. Very straight-forward.

Bed side manner is the worst. Walked out of my room without telling me we were finished and left me sitting there waiting, until I went to ask his staff if we were done. Sarcastic and impatient.

Like so many other Endocrinologists he is not willing to work with Hashimoto patients. This is a difficult disease to manage and Dr. Muchmore relies on lab numbers instead of symptoms. He is also not flexible in trying out new meds and insists on prescribing generics even when patients have problems with it. He is sarcastic about Internet research even though all legit medical research is on the Internet these days. He might be a good doctor if he was more flexible and willing to work with his patients. My life has become very difficult with this dreadful disease and there is very little research out there. I don't need a doctor who is always right and not willing to listen to my symptoms. In the meantime, thanks to not getting adequate treatment, Hashi has affected my muscles and joints to the point where I am unable to walk. It has affected my eyes and the thyroid meds are destroying my liver. In other countries they prescribe T4 and T3 meds for Hashi patients because they feel better on taking both . He refuses to even try that. I wish I could find an integrative medicine physician. Unfortunately Oklahoma is behind the times and it's costing me my health.

Great Doctor! I had previously gone to another endocrinologist who performed a biopsy of the thyroid without giving me anything for pain or numbing the area. I was in tears before it was over, it was so painful! Swore I'd never have another biopsy. When it became necessary to have another one I told my primary care nurse I wouldn't go back to the first one and she scheduled an appt. with Dr. Muchmore. He had to perform another biopsy but he deadened it and was so understanding of my fears. His nurse is also Great! Dr.is very thorough and knowledgeable and so good at listening and explaining everything. Such a nice personality. Really cares about his patients! Even called me at home with the results of the biopsy and took the time to answer any questions I had. He is the only one I will go to for my problem. He gets 5 stars!

He is the best. He gives me copies of all my labwork and doesn't talk down to me. He sent me to an outstanding surgeon for my thyroidectomy. As a new patient he got me in the same week, because he looked at my lab results and said I was very sick. He has a dry sense of humor and is matter of fact, but he is very compassionate and has the highest standards. He is a brilliant doctor and was able to figure out that I had two opposing autoimmune thyroid diseases. He always listens to me and does bloodwork when I feel something isn't right. Everything he has done for me and had me do for myself has worked, and I feel like a different person from two years ago.

An amazing doctor. He can and will make your diabetes manageable. And he knows it. He can be very arrogant. But it is worth putting up with to receive care from someone so knowledgeable. I don't recommend seeing him if you are deaf or hearing-impaired. He won't take the time you need to understand him.
