Grace would be the GP I would chose if I could.
She is thoughtful, compassionate, and thorough.
You never feel rushed with her.
She is the best example of what a GP should be.

Grace has a phenomenal magical touch. Last Friday..wow that long ago...she was the recipient of me..an avid Cyclist from St. John's Newfoundland...delivered after a 5 ft. vertical crash into immovable rock. The rock won!!! My guide..another awesome professional... sagely brought me to Squamish General...my fist time as patient in my 67 years on this planet. Triaged expertly and cast into Grace's healing hands. She was respectful, professional, focused, and diligent . Her personable nature...Hi, I'm Grace...created a human to human encounter that shifted a hospital experience from fear and pain to one of healing and humour. Needless to say..other than my soft tissue damage to my quad OUCH, a fractured left wrist and a few bumps and bruises...it was in hindsight a relatively fun and awakening experience. Grace..thank you. You and your team are simply the best. From the very east coast to you....simply awesome!!! I invite you to always... GO...MAKE..MAGIC!!! Charlie O

Grace has been my doctor for many years. She is incredible. Attentive, gets right down to it, and has helped me with my depression as well as post concussion syndrome. I feel incredibly fortunate to have her as my GP.

She is the best GP I've ever had. Let's me lead, listens, has common sense, funny and so knowledgeable! Jut love her and her caring heart. I commute an hour to see her from North Van. I feel she gives the best care I could ever have.

I had the good fortune to be treated by Dr. Tavares me at Squamish Emerg. She was caring, calm and very thorough. Dr. Grace was attentive and quick to respond my concerns and provided me with practical advice and guidance. I was there for the whole day and saw her work with children, seniors, heart patients and an accident victim. Her interactions with the emerg staff were warm, professional and she appears to be regarded with high regard. Patients under her care are lucky to have her as their doctor.

Grace delivered my two daughters and I can't rave enough about her, best birth I ever experienced out of the 4 children. The nurses were amazing too.

I always knew that Dr. Tavares was a good doctor but it was not until we left Squamish that I realized just how good. After three years, I still miss her caring and compassionate manner. I always felt that she cared not just for us but, also, about us. Squamish is very fortunate to have her.
