I have ehlers Danlos Syndrome, endometriosis, adenomyosis, pcos, and several other chronic illnesses. Upon having an extremely painful menstrual cycle, I went into the ER for some relief. He simply gave me toradol and when I told him that it didn’t help at all he refused to give me anything stronger and discharged me. He clearly had no empathy or knowledge of any of my conditions despite me trying to explain to him, and sent me home with the advice to eat a bland diet and slowly reintroduce foods.... THIS WASNT A GI ISSUE KEEP IN MIND. And he even tried the “because the blood work came back normal, I can’t give you anything” bs. Even tried to treat me as a drug seeker. As someone with chronic health issues, this man had no empathy or respect and sent me home emotionally torn apart, let alone physically in excruciating pain.
