horrible doctor - terrible bedside manner and so arrogant yet she knows very little she shouldnt be practicing at all

I have been a patient for several years now. She is fantastic. Regularly answers my questions that really should be directed at my family doctor.

Dr. Falvo has been awesome from the start. I first seen her when I was admitted in the emergency department for breathing problems. At that time I didn't have a family physician she made sure I had follow up appointments with her and I still see her regularly 3 years later.

After waiting an hour with no one else ahead of me, proceeding with a series of questions which was good. When I disclosed I was struggling with hemorrhoids, she actually said “ew” and made a disgusted expression not an empathetic one. After hurrying to complete all diagnostic tests suggested, I did not hear back from the office for weeks. When I inquired a month later, the staff said she would contact me. This was all before the pandemic began. Another 12 months went by before I received a call for a virtual appointment. Surprised, I stated that I had called three times and left messages to which the staff replied, “yeah, I know, our voicemail sucks.” Curious to see what the Dr. would say when I asked about follow up, I accepted an appointment and booked off time at a new job. Three days prior to my appointment, I received a message that they were “still figuring out the system” and Friday was “not going to work for them”. They had 8 months to figure out virtual consults and could not work OTN. Sounds like another excuse for abhorrent service. A second message was left the day before the scheduled appointment asking me to call. I think I’ve done my part but did leave a message. Now 22 days later and no rescheduling attempt made. I waited months to get in and then a year for a follow up call. Ask your physician for a referral to another internist. Dr. Falvo and her team has shown a cavalier disregard for patients.

Negative experience with this doctor and I haven't met her yet. Receptionist is rude. I called to inquire about an upcoming appointment only to be told that I had missed it as it was a month ago and that I wrote it down wrong. This is a lie because the date she said my appointment was on was a Sunday. Also, due to Covid-19, my appointment was to be a video conference. My appointment did not happen. The receptionist said they would send an email with a link for the appointment and that she would call to ensure I received the email; none of this happened.

I have had multiple appointments with Dr Falvo and she is a great Dr. She even addressed issues that my family doctor missed and for which was not the purpose of my appointment(s). I also find it amazing how punctual she always is. I have never had an appointment with another specialist that was even close to on time. She also has a great friendly personality.

First visit was very negative, I was asked "why are you here?" This sounded more like 'why are you bothering' me than a genuine inquiry. Got a bit of a 'bum's rush' from this doctor.
Second app't was much better , more questions asked by her and an actual examination (which one might have expected with the first appointment) Perhaps someone discussed 'bedside manner with her?) Gets full points for punctuality ....no other patients in the waiting room.

Horrible experience with Lisa Falvo! Her secretaries were rude upon arrival. She did not address my concerns and was extremely demeaning.
