Dr. Walsh is the BEST, and I feel so lucky to have her expertise through two pregnancies. She has an amazing heart and truly cares for the health of her patients and their babies. I have always felt safe in her care. She is brilliant and caring. If she is accepting new patients, you should jump at the chance to be in her care. She is the absolute best, and I would absolutely pay out of network charges to see her even if she wasn’t an option on my insurance. She’s excellent.

Let me start out by saying I had two high risk pregnancies. I was on bed rest for several months both at home, then in the hospital. Dr. Walsh was our guardian angel. She guided us through the hard times and was always a step ahead of any issues. She was comforting and had an amazing sense of humor that put us at ease. I can not say enough about this woman. We owe her so much!

I do not normally read the internet, but a patient brought the 5-31-17 post to my attention. Please accept my apology, and know that this is not my heart or who I am. I would not want this experience for anyone. I understand your frustration. I will address this issue and I wish you a safe and healthy outcome for your pregnancy. Dr. Katrina Walsh

Let me start by saying I am a physician and I never had the opportunity to meet Dr Walsh, and not by my choice. This review is based on my interaction with her STAFF over the phone and in person. I had seen another OBGYN physician and was having some concerns, so I wanted to see Dr Walsh for a second opinion. I called Dr Walsh's office the 3rd week of May and was told that even though I was an OB patient, she was so busy her next available appointment was mid July. The staff I talked to was rude and arrogant. I thought maybe I had caught someone on a bad day and tried to call again the following week. I explained that I wanted to see Dr Walsh for a consultation to see if we would have a better patient-physician interaction and relationship, but her staff seemed annoyed and angry that I didn't know for sure I wanted to switch my care to Dr Walsh without having met her. Despite this, I tried to make an appointment to see Dr Walsh in hopes that she was as amazing as I had read on reviews. I provided my medical insurance information and scheduled an appointment to see her. Her staff did not ask me to fill out any information prior to the appointment, but as a physician, I knew that was strange, so I asked if there was any information or forms I needed to fill out, at which point I was transferred to another staff, who again seemed very busy and rude. Anyway, finally the appointment time came, and my husband and I took off work to come to the appointment. I arrived to the office and was told Dr Walsh did not accept my insurance so unless I wanted to pay out of network prices, it was best if I did not see Dr Walsh. Why they did not verify my insurance ahead of the appointment I do not understand. This is something I extremely disliked my own staff to do in my own practice and went to great lengths to prevent, because I understood how annoying and difficult it is to find out at the doctor's front window that there is an insurance issue and be turned away. I do not understand why there was no apology, why her staff is so rude and unprofessional. I extremely despise negative patient reviews that are unsubstantiated, especially as a physician, however, I also do not understand patients being treated in this manner. Again, I never got to meet Dr Walsh, so this review is based on her staff, not directly with her, however, I hope this review prompts a re-evaluation of her staff and how they treat people.

Doctor Katrina Walsh is not someone I would recommend. She had terrible bedside manners, tried to push me to make choices about my baby and pregnancy that went against my desires. She tried to use intimidation, manipulation, and made threats to try and make me do what she wanted. And, she did not circumcise my boy correctly so he is now having issues with his circumcision. Definitely DO NOT recommend her. I have had 2 more babies delivered by other doctors and those doctors put her medical practice to shame.

I can't say enough good things about Dr Walsh and her staff. I was so well cared for during my high risk pregnancy. I always felt like I was being treated as the most important patient she had. I had an emergency c-section that required her to leave her office in the middle of the day. Please remember when you go to an OB that they have to deliver the babies when they come, not based on appointment times.

I had a laparoscopic hysterectomy a week ago. From the moment I met Dr. Walsh, I knew I had found a special and knowledgeable doctor. She is absolutely incredible. Dr. Walsh spends time with you and is very genuine and thorough in everything she does. She did an amazing job on my surgery and I am truly grateful that I have her as my doctor.

She saves so many lives and people never even realize it. She has saved mother and daughter over and over and over. I know she saved me! High risk pregnancies are her specialty, but she never once complains about having to round at 7:00am every day to see all her patients in the hospital. She is always cheerful and good-humored, and when my baby went into distress in delivery, she never once panicked. She saved my life and my son's, and I am so desperately grateful. It's rare to be able to point to someone and say "without them I wouldn't be here," but Dr. Walsh is one of those people. Everyone who leaves disgruntled reviews about wait time and being "over cautious" should realize that's what makes her a great doctor: taking the time with each patient to know them and diagnose correctly. She made me feel like I was her only patient, and getting to know me and help me stop crying, I never felt rushed. I felt like she had all the time in the world to give, and that is so rare nowadays. Bravo, Dr. Walsh.

I have known her for years and she is all of the above and more! compassionate, loving, comforting, caring even when her personal world was at it's worst. Besides having excellent bedside manner, her intelligence level is off the charts:)
