Biography
James R. McWilliam, M.D., is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in foot and ankle surgery. His treatment philosophy stresses conservative management and, if non-operative treatment fails, he applies an evidence-based approach to surgical correction and repair. An emphasis on minimally invasive techniques, when applicable, frequently returns his patients to an active lifestyle faster than traditional, open techniques. As the foremost foot and ankle surgeon in Westchester County, He has pioneered cutting-edge techniques in foot and ankle surgery including ankle replacement and minimally invasive fusion, arthroscopic cartilage and ligament repair, percutaneous Achilles tendon repair, and minimally invasive bunion surgery.

Do not see this arrogant Dr. He said he was 99.5 percent certain my husband had a planter fibroma and my husband said he wanted to be 100. Percent sure since he read a lump on the bottom of the foot could be cancer. The Dr said you don’t believe me I will give you an mri and stormed out of the room, He gave him a script for an MRI and it had the wrong foot on the script. We went to a Dr in poughkeepsie instead who gave us a correct script for an MRI and the results were neither cancer or planter fibroma. He thought it was a vein. Needless to say while Dr McWilliams staff was nice he was an an abusive arrogant Dr and I would give him minus zero stars if there was such a thing,
