Saw this ER doctor twice and both times were a nightmare that left me in shock. First time was for a piece of metal in my eye. (a spec of metal) Told me to leave it in and not doing anything about it and gave me antibiotics. Short version of that story is went to an eye doctor next day and he had to remove the metal and told me if I left it in that it would continue to rust causing my eye to have a brown rust circle and possible blurry vision in that eye forever and thought I'd mention the eye doctor has 30+ years of experience . (Full story is more bizarre but trying to keep this short.) told everyone it was like a twilight zone episode and what are the odds something like that would happen again... Well 6 month later had to come in again for an injury to my finger and back. Well I must have bad luck because same doctor comes in and I almost immediately recognized him because he doesn't dress like a doctor he's in a zip up hoodie like he came from the gym. Told him I couldn't bend over and it killed when I tried to. ( gave him detailed history of my back and other problems I have had) had me lift my legs up while I was sitting on bed and that was it. Didn't touch my back and when I asked if I could get an xray just to make sure he said he wouldn't and I asked why and his response and I kid you not was 'you cant see bones in a xray so it would be useless'. I thought okay I'm in alot of pain maybe I misheard him lol so I asked again and gave me the same answer and I just looked at him in silence and asked if you could see a slipped disc or if anything was off in my spine and lower back and he said no you wouldn't be able to see.... Wouldn't let me get an xray to make sure. Then move on to my finger which they did do an xray. I couldn't move my finger up and down, or bend it and before he read the xray results the nurse comes in and starts trying to wrap my finger and I asked if he looked at it yet and she said he's looking at it. I asked her why she is messing with my finger when he hadn't even reviewed it all the way. She ignored me and Continued to roughly injure my finger more. Doctor comes back and wasn't going to tell me results until I asked him and then when I asked what was wrong with it he ignored that question and started talking about my back even though he already said he wasn't going to do anything for it. I'm medicine resistant meaning almost all meds don't work for me and he's never heard of such a thing and told me he wasn't going to give me anything for the pain even tho I was crying and shaking from the pain on the brink of a panic of attack which I told him the whole time my history of depression and anxiety and he already upset me so much I had to get out of there. (was gonna give me antibiotics for a tiny cut and that's it) I told him forget I'm leaving I'm about to have a panic attack and he said it will only take a couple min and i said I'm about to have a panic attack and I need to go so if you wanna write it and bring it to the front desk than okay but I need to go so I don't freak out and his response was and almost quoting him said 'I said 2 to 3 minutes it's not even going to take that long' and I replied so you won't take it up there for me me even tho I'm shaking about to have a nervous break down and he said no. That's when I had to leave right away or I would've knocked him out. Plus he was blocking the doorway with his arm the only exit so I felt trapped. I'm a 26 year old male and I hate crying infront of people so no matter how much pain I'm in I try to keep a calm face and I was crying on and off the whole time. Receptionist was nice though lol 😂 nurses were like the 3 stooges and I kept having to move my hand jerking it away or they would've hit over 20 times because a few times they did hit and didn't apologize. Xray tech was the only professional caring and gentle person. She kept apologizing that I was hurting so much and she was not only an amazing xray tech but could tell she had a big heart. That was 3 days ago still can't move my finger and he never told me the results of xray lol. Couldn't find him online through their staff page so I had to go back in and get his name because I had to tell what happened ( I've been seeing doctors all my life for many various problems and many ER visits. I've seen brilliant doctors who are super nice and some who are mean but still brilliant and then I've seen good and bad and horrible doctors. If you're mean than at least be brilliant. This twilight zone doctor is the worst doctor I've ever seen. I hesitated leaving a review because who's going to believe that a doctor said you cant see bones in a xray it's unheard of But if you have a serious problem like a messed upsprained or broken finger or metal in your eye do not see this guy. I've seen terrible people as doctors and never left a review till now so if that tells you something about how bizzare and wrong it was.
