I came in with extreme eye and head pain. Doctor proceeded to berate me thinking I was a drug addict. Please test blood for drug addiction before proceeding to berate the patient.

I was seen by this doctor in the ER of Memorial Hospital. She came in the room with an attitude. Proceeded to talk down to me, barely touched me and told me she never heard of anyone being allegic to Claritin. Very unprofessional!!!

I waited 3 hours, told the same story 12 times while my husband was continually accused of abusing me despite my objections. No one believed I was in pain, they made me walk around the building with a heart monitor to prove via elevated heart rate that I was, despite me telling them I had already blacked out twice. I was given 3 prescriptions with codeine, none of which I can take together for symptoms I experience at the same time. The doctor gave me incorrect dosage instructions that would have had me OD on codeine according to my pharmacist. The staff were unhelpful in answering questions, rude to my husband, and made me make unnecessary movements and repeat myself even though it hurt to talk or breathe and refused to hear my husband retell the story for me. I will never return to Memorial's emergency room. I would rather suffer the consequences of a longer trip on the way to St. Joseph than be treated in the way I was treated at Memorial.
