Never have I encountered such a Doctor who was so unprofessional. I went to Dr. Cheatham to refill my medications. I have been travelling back and forth from England working on moving there. I was given a medication in England which is working for me. So I was running out and was reffered to Dr. Cheatham that he's a great Doctor who listens and will help. Here's my experience: A Doctor who doesn't introduces himself to a new patient. Yells at his staff from accross the room for things he needs. Was told to do bloodwork for one price but was charged another. Staff telling me I misunderstood the Doctor on pricing with a look. A Doctor who calls his patient Odd cause I was upset not angry at his actions on giving me a hard time. Told me I irrated him ( most likely cause I questioned his actions). Told me to go call a Pharmacy in Canada to get the one medication he wasnt able to prescribe due to him not wanting to look for a replacement. Also since I irritated him because I didnt understand his actions he told me to find another Dr who is more empathetic to my needs. He will not see me anymore if I needed help. Honestly, I'm a sensitive person I do cry when I'm upset and I did when Dr. Cheatham spoke to me in the manner that he did. As a patient asking for help I felt disrespected by Dr. Cheatham being repeatedly call Odd and not trying his best as a Doctor to help a patient. I can only think Dr. Cheatham didn't try his best is due to I didn't have health insurance so I might not be a repeat patient. I hope this review will help you in your decision on choosing him as your physician.

Worst experience I’ve ever had with a doctor and front of house staff. I asked to speak with the doctor three times and he keeps having someone else call. Seems all about getting his copay and really nothing else. All he does is refer you out to other doctors, not sure what I was paying for. Avoid this “doctor”!

This place is good for colds or scratches not for REAL healthcare. Many times my prescriptions were not filled on time. I'd be promised a call back and never ever got 1 single call back. I would have to go 2-3 days without my medications. Can not refill them early and if it falls on a Saturday you are up the creek. Even on a weekday often it would fall through the cracks.
I too got a lot of contradiction between staff and Dr. William Cheatham AKA Mr. feel good. All smiles and promises in front of your face, as soon as he's out of the picture all promises are broken.
SOme who have no insurance yet want breast cancer screening during Mammapaloosa requires a Dr.'s prescription to get the low cost Mammogram. Dr. Cheatham refuses to give such prescriptions as it also would require him to review the results. That came directly from the office manager....
A presciption requiring Dr. Cheatham to follow up with his patient every 90 days, he decides you need to come in every 30 days and says he is required by law. An outright lie.

Thank God I had the sense to go to another Dr.!!! In which I have requested 4 times to have my medical records sent to my new Dr... This has never happened and my new Dr.'s office have given up even trying.

If you have a cut scrape or bruise, cough or cold you are probably better off at the drug store.

I went to this place for a few years before realizing I was not getting healthcare.. How any Dr. could refuse to write a prescription for their patient so they can get a Mammogram at low cost cause they have no insurance is unethical and downright unprofessional of ANY health care provider. In which I conclude they are not.
If you want REAL healthcare don't go to Dr. Cheatham, hist staff is poorly ran and he says one thing to your face another to your back.

I have been going to Dr. Cheatham for about four years, here late the turnover of staff is substantial, but as for the Doctor himself............I love him, I see many reviews about referrals, I have never had an issue with that, he gives them to me whenever I ask. I don't always like the referred physician but that is another review. I always get my lab results right away unless I have things done at places he did not send me to. It is a good practice to call for them if you hear nothing back. Doctor Cheatham is well knowledgeable and friendly. I am leaving Florida soon and I will miss him as my personal Physician.

I lived this nightmare! The turnover in staff has been unbelievable! The Dr. says one thing, then does another. Ever since they lost the one girl who was the main front desk person for years, the place has become chaotic at best. Mike one of the new receptionists is the rudest person I have even encountered that is allowed to interact with other human beings. Your told the Dr. or Nurse will call you back, it doesn't happen. Try, just try to get a refill called in, or a referral. This at one point had been an OK office. I feel sorry for the snowbirds that come down that use him while they are here. They will be disappointed at best, if not just completely ignored. Trust me, you can do better, and you owe it to yourself!

Have been seeing Dr Cheatham for about 2 months as my primary. He always takes time to explain things thoroughly and is patient enough to answer all my questions. His staff is also top notch ..professional and courteous. Had one minor snafu with my insurance company regarding a prescription but it was resolved...otherwise 5 stars across the board

I just love Dr. Cheatham. Went in as a walk-in because my Dr. was not available. He has been my Dr. ever since. he is very personable and informative. He helped me greatly.

ive been going to dr cheatham for over 4 years and he is jsut fantastic. HE really cares about you, he listens and he gets things done. He alwayas goes out of his way to help. I dont know what else to say. He's simply fantastic and Ive referred at leat 10 others to him and EVERY one of them feel the same way!
