Not helpful in any sense of the word. No empathy, communication was sorely lacking. Do not waste your time.

I am in complete agreement w/ a previous review about finding a good neurologist in St. Louis, I've been to way too many. They were incompetent, rude, misdiagnosed me, etc. Dr. Thomas actually ran the right tests. I think he's brilliant, but he has the bedside manner of a, well, I can't even think of a comparison. He's brusque, rude, and friends who go to him think he "doesn't give a d***." His office doesn't return phone calls, I'm hoping I don't end up in the hospital from running out of a medication as I write this (been calling for three weeks), but at least he knows his stuff. And, I just found out he ordered a test over 3 months ago that his office staff never scheduled.

He is a very kind and polite person. H listens and does his homework. He does not second guess the patient. I give him my highest respect.

His patience and bedside manner leaves much to be desired, and his office staff is the worst I've ever seen. However, he is EXTREMELY knowledgeable and thorough, very efficient, and is not afraid to challenge previous diagnoses other than rely on what previous doctors have said. He is surgical and tries to get to the heart of the problem. You'd have better luck finding a unicorn over a good neurologist in the St. Louis area, and Dr. Thomas is an excellent one to have.
