I have been going to Dr. Cheng ever since I have been in Tyler 3 years ago. He has been my family eye doctor. I will definitely miss him not that he has left Tyler. I will have to find another eye doctor.

I believe this is the same doctor that is at Firewheel Mall now. PLEASE!!!!!! Do not go there! I went today and they are terrible. It was my first time using my vision insurance and they lied to me and told me that my insurance did not cover certain extra exams and charged me way tooo much and thats not including my $10 co-pay. I talked to a friend about it and she told me they should not have charged me that and they did not file it through my insurance first. Very shady. I never write reviews but please be warned and do not trust them. I even told them it was my first time using my insurance so they went ahead and took advantage of that. Please turn away and save your money.

Terrible place!!! Im glad they are closed now!! If you find Doctor Arnold Cheng and his sneaky secretary stay away from them. They will rip you of in 5 minutes. I loved only one thing at their office - ring bell lol

Took time and did a very detailed exam. Explained everything that needed explanation. At the time of my exam he was working with/for someone close to FM1960, Humble, TX . I wish he would work someplace closer than Tyler (3 hour drive from Humble) so he could be my Eye Dr. for a lifetime .

The Doctor was very timid and had difficult time giving a straight answer, the lady at the front desk refused to give us the contact lens perscription that they charged us for, demanding we had to order a years worth of contacts from them, should have only had a $10 copay, ended up paying $104, and refused to give us a detailed receipt, only a hand written receipt from a tear out receipt book. Very shady office, would not recommend.

Amazing! Dr. Cheng was awesome. My dog got a hold of my glasses, so I needed some glasses fast. I went to him, since they had one hour service. Not only did he help me with my glasses prescription, he also helped me with my allergies.

I was really impressed by the staff. They were very professional, courteous, and polite making me feel welcomed. I was impressed with the advanced machines they had. Dr. Cheng was very nice too.

I went here for a walk in eye exam. I have to say my experience was great. I had to wait 20 to 30 minutes... not bad for a walk in exam. I was greeted with a smile. They quickly got me in. Dr. Cheng was very nice and knowledgeable and put me in a pair of contacts that were actually comfortable. The contact lens I got before worked ok, but would dry out very quickly. He recommended these contacts for me due to my dry eyes. I was so thrilled with the contacts that I went ahead and purchased the contacts there. They even had my contacts in stock! I was so happy about that. I didn't have to wait for my contact lens. I have a higher prescription,so I was excited that they actually carried my prescription contacts in stock. I will definitely be going to this one stop shop.

My eye appointment went extremely well. I was greeted with a smile and treated well. The front staff explained my insurance and even checked my medical insurance to see if I had any additional benefits. Dr. Cheng was great. He was very nice and informative. I have always needed reading glasses when wearing contacts. I have been wearing contacts for many years. When he heard this, he recommended me multifocal contacts. At first I was not sure if they would work or not. I went ahead and tried them on at the office, and they have worked great. I can now read my cell phone without reading glasses!! After the exam, I wanted to try the contacts out for a week before I purchased them. They did not pressure me into buying glasses and contacts through them which I did appreciate. I ended up paying only 30 dollars for my whole exam. So far the contacts are working great for me!! No more reading glasses!
