I had a referral from another doctor for Dr. Ryan Neff at Mercy Hospital, Ballas Road, St. Louis, MO. The visit was going well, talked to me about the surgery proedure and what to expect. Then he asked me if had been vaccinated. When I responded no, he refused to perform the surgery. He told me it was for my own good to be vaccinated and I needed to get it and if I had the surgery, I would get Covid at the hospital. I told him it is a personal choice whether someone gets the vaccine, and does not know the reason for my decision and I don't need him acting as my guardian for my decision. Didn't matter to him. Check your surgeons out before you go. This doctor stands on a moral high ground and wants to dictate to people personal medical decisions and has no idea of my medical history for me to make such a decision.
