I loved Dr. Tallo, but every time I go in there it's always new staff. The staff he keeps he should get rid of! I loved Candie, Corrine, and Heather now they're all gone. Kathy, liz and Brittany should not be there. So with much regret I have left the practice and won't go back! Don't get me wrong Dr. Tallo is an excellent pediatrician but what's the use if his staff is awful. I mean come on who lets a person who has no medical background give medical advice, he does his wife has done it for years. Just can't keep letting my children get attached to the good ones and they leave
Too bad

Dr. Christopher P. Tallo's response
Dear Friend,

I am very sorry that our office no longer meets your needs. Our office has expanded. Working continuously without days off was not good for me or my patients. As a result, there are many new faces. My staff is NOT awful. They all work very hard to please our families. There jobs are demanding and at times stressful. I demand that my staff provides the same care that they would want for there own child. People who fail to share my passion for children's healthcare are asked to find employment elsewhere. This would include some of the people you once loved.

Kathy has been working at our office since the day it opened. Kathy is the only person in our organization answering the phones who is not an RN. Kathy has a Masters Degree in Science from Brown University where she studied molecular biology. She is quite intelligent. She and I have raised four children together. She understands my thinking about parenting children. She has had the opportunity to observe me provide care to thousand of children over the last 22 years. She has been with me listening to the telephone advise I give parents day in and day out. She has worked tirelessly for your family and many other families. In many ways, she is the most qualified person in the office. She is very experienced. She can remember the most minute details about a patient and their family. In general, she reads my medical journals as soon as they arrive in the mailbox at home. Currently, she is pursuing an RN at IPFW. She is very knowledgeable and cares. Lastly, I have received many many positive reviews regarding Kathy's knowledge and kindness via the telephone and in person. Maybe you and she had a bad day together. I think you opinion of these intelligent, hard working woman is unfair. I know that many of your peers would disagree with your opinion. Liz and Brittany work tirelessly to help children attain and keep good health. I think that it is unfair to judge them publicly without every having shared your thoughts in person.

I am happy that you decided to seek out a new provider. There are many good physicians in our community. Hopefully, you will find someone who will meet your needs. Should you ever have the need to speak about your specific concerns in person then feel free to call the office.

Dr. Tallo and his staff are great. Dr. Tallo always takes time with my kids and never makes us feel rushed. His staff is always so welcoming and helpful. I've called with non urgent issues and they still make you feel as though your child's well being is their number 1 priority. Dr. Tallo listens to all the concerns and touches on each one.

Some of the staff are really awesome. His daughters and wife I could do without. Kathy is awfully rude to you on the phone the other lady I really like she always has a smile and she's very helpful. I would leave the practice if he got rid of her. Elizabeth is rude.

My family is truly blessed by having Dr. Tallo has our pediatrician. He treats my children like they are his only patients. He is so caring and loving. We also enjoy Buddy and Bella, his two golden retriever therapy dogs, the children really enjoy seeing them, and LOVE going to the doctor. We love Dr. Tallo. My prayers were answered when we entered his doctor's office for the first time, his staff are all wonderful and caring. Dr. Tallo, is truly an amazing doctor, a friend, and a part of my family.

Dr Tallo is the best pediatrician I've ever met. My son is on the autism spectrum and has difficulty expressing himself, but Dr Tallo always takes as much time as necessary. He truly cares about his patients and it shows in everything he does. Office staff is friendly and warm. I love that I do not have to go into my son's whole life story every time I call-everyone there makes an effort to know the kids. Yea, sometimes there is a wait, but it is well worth it for someone who sees your child as an individual and not just another unit to move through the office.
Dr. Tallo's primary concern is the well being of the children in his care. And that's what a good kid doc does. He is not there to agree unconditionally with parents; he is there to provide what ever is in the best interest of the child.
