I needed emergency hand surgery when I came from FL. Dr Kline made me an immediate appt and had me in surgery within 1 day. The surgery was a great success!! I’m now attending therapy at his office and that staff is also magnificent!! My Certified Hand Therapist, Cindy Cooper is the greatest!!!
I highly recommend Dr Kline!!!

Squeezed me in with little notice to see him. He was attentive and listed to the pain I was describing. Made recommendations to avoid surgery and was able to stop the pain in my wrists. He could have just chosen to operate but knew it wasn't the best option for me.

Dr. Kline RUINED my hand. I broke my wrist in 2012 and he operated on my hand, setting it in a very strange position, so that I have had pain and am unable to perform certain every-day operations with it. Now, I have lost the use of my index finger . . . and will seek help from someone else - and never let Sam Kline touch me again.
He also has the WORST bedside manner of any doctor I have ever come in contact with. I don't know how he remains in practise. Even the physical therapist was aghast at the job he did on my wrist. I am an artist . . . and this is my right hand . . . and it is a crying shame.

Dr.Kline is an arrogant jerk. He didn't listen to my concerns at all. He not once asked me where my pain was or how my shoulder was feeling. He said my shoulder grinding and my pain level was normal but yet I needed pain meds and physical therapy. Said he would send me to Sentara but that they sucked. I won't see him ever again.

I believe Dr. Kline is the best Orthopedic Hand Specialist in the area! Dr. Kline is dedicated to his patients and to the medical arts. He has a genuine warmth with people, a quiet but very keen sense of humor, and gets straight to the patient's care rather than being a "social butterfly."

I had pain in my upper wrists. Dr. Kline listened to my needs and concerns, performed the tests he needed to confirm his diagnosis, and gave me options for treatment and the information I needed to make an informed decision. My choice was to undergo a De Quervain's Release in each wrist. The surgeries were very quick and easy. I had immediate relief and healing time was minimal.

About two years later I was diagnosed with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome in both wrists and arthritis in one hand. (My 30+ years of working on computers had finally caught up with me.) Again, Dr. Kline listened to my needs and concerns, reviewed the tests from another physician to confirm the diagnosis, and discussed options for treatment. I had Carpal Tunnel Release surgery in each wrist and an injection of cortisone into the arthritic joint. Again the surgeries were quick and easy. I had great relief and healing time was minimal.

I highly recommend Dr. Kline to anyone with hand or wrist issues. I would not go to anyone else!

I have never fractured anything in my life. Until a year ago, I fractured my right wrist at work. I went I Atlantic orthopedics. Doctor Kline was my care provider. He is an outstanding specialist. Who really knows what he's doing. After my cast was removed. I still had very severe pain. The he determined that I needed surgery. He performed it, and my wrist is almost at 75% recovered. He's A great doctor who I trust and trully recommend. I am still been seen by him. He treats patients like family. Great job doctor Kline.

dr, kline is wonderful. my two surgeries were exactly as described/discussed. I highly recommend him. he is a man of few words, but when he speaks, it is from a perspective of true wisdom and experience.

The staff still needs to work on patients being seen on time. I think they probably overbook. Dr. Kine has improved his interaction with me considerably. This last time, he listened to what I had to say and responded to it. Previously I felt I had been blown off and he was in a hurry.
