Hello, I had my left hip replaced from Dr. Panaro. Don’t have surgery from him. His post-op complication rate is very high. He does not close the incision properly leading post op bleeding and infection. You will be left with a jagged scar and bleeding profusely. I know there is lots of great reviews about him, but I can swear to you they are not the majority. He speeds through his surgeries and does not take the time to do them properly. Please avoid him at all costs. I’m hoping my experience with him will be enough to prevent someone else having to go through what I did.

Dr Panero has replaces both hips and one knee and I couldn’t be happier. Still using a cane but has only been a couple of months since my knee replacement.

Dr. Panaro did a labral repair on my hip. He has checked in on a couple of occasions since my surgery. He and Anna were both great to deal with. They were very responsive to questions that I had both before and after surgery.

Surgery itself was uncomplicated. No post-op infection to deal with and the anchors seem to be placed well. Not the most beautiful incisions, but that could have been my fault (too much too soon and one ripped a little).

Overall, excellent surgeon and outstanding staff. Anna was always a true pleasure to deal with.

I went to dr. Pinero in 2017. I was born with hip dysplasia. At the time I was 30. I was falling down and in pain as well. He suggested a PAO surgery. I said do it. So in 2018 had the surgery. Was in the hospital for 5 days. Anyways follow up appointments after that. Was an X-ray and to tell me not to do physiotherapy. I did this for about three weeks after. Got a blood clot in my leg when into my lugs. Was on blood thinners for a year. Okie now it’s been 5 years. I was in a crash on December 2022. After about couple weeks I’d say. I started having severe pain in my left hip. I ended up going to the hospital three times before somebody would put in a requisition to see Dr. Pinero again. I finally got an appointment two weeks ago. He took an x-ray. He said nothing has changed. He said he would book an MRI. I ended back into the hospital. I couldn’t even put weight on my leg. I got an MRI a week later from the emergency department. Two days after that, I got the letter for the MRI that he requested in the mail. And it was dated for June 1. I showed and told Dr Panaro My my doctor put me on Hydro morphine for the pain. I specifically said I don’t want to be on this medication. Do something about it now. And then talk to him a couple days after and now he is pushing me to get a Cortizone shot. I for one don’t want one. I understand I’m only 35 I want a full hip replacement. I can’t work I can’t walk. I’m using crutches and he will do nothing about it. If anyone out there has any suggestions, please do let me know. I will be finding a new doctor! Not impressed at all! No one is taking me seriously.

I was very anxious about my hip arthoscopy, reading reviews I was pretty confident I would have the best surgeon. He don’t waste yours or his time with chit chat and does get to the root, explains with great detail of why you’re in pain and lays out the options. I like bad honest and direct doctor.
Anna at his office is fantastic to deal with, and I went into the surgery, very confident. After surgery he has called more then most, truly cares about making sure your recovery is going great, and let’s you know the office is always there to reach out to if you need to get ahold of him. Recovery has been great, listening and following the very clear set out rules from him and I am no longer feeling the pain, I have felt for years. Highly recommend him for your orthopedic surgery!!!
