she was our doctor for four years and was given the best of care. we loved her and only changed because we moved to pictou county

If I could get a new family doctor I would. Dr Hanna is knowledgeable enough, thorough and good to refer when necessary. She is competent. However I think I cry every time I go there because she is so rude and disrespectful to me. Her patient etiquette and rapport is extremely poor.

Does not follow up. Said she would set up tests for me on 4 occasions and never did. Feeling neglected. Ended up going to walk in clinic to get help.

How she got a medical license to practice medicine in NS is mind blowing. She doesn’t listen to her patients, she prescribed medication that made a heart condition worse, she doesn’t stop medications correctly/weening the patient off. As a family physician you need to know what your are proscribing to your patients. She is experimenting with a medical condition that is outside her specialty and won’t send a referral to the appropriate department. The quality of care that my grandmother is receiving is not ethical or professional. I have reported her. I have seen her once and I never went back because she has no idea what she is talking about and when I called her out on it she got made and said I was a bully. She doesn’t make the health and well being of her patients a priority. She just does want she wants even if the patient doesn’t agree. I would trust her with a guinea pig let alone a human being.

Dr. Hanna is a great doctor. If someone is looking for a caring, conscientious, knowledgeable doctor she is the one.
