I visited Dr. Zohrab back in 1985 and he diagnosed me correctly with ulcerative colitis, which is in remission as I eat yogourt daily. Sorry to see this wonderful Doctor has retired!

In August of 2008,he diagnosed my yellow skin wrongly ,hospitalized me for a week assuming that I had pancreas disease, a week later I was discharged .But the problem continued for the next 4 months. Dr W.John Zohrab was visiting me not realizing that my liver is failing . Early January 2009 I went into comma and they just left me dying in the hospital until my family with agaianst his resistance transferred me to Vancouver General Hospital .I'm alive today thanks to Great Doctors such as Dr Scudamore only after a liver transplant at the very last minute .Doctor Zohrab failed even in listing my name in liver transplant recipient list, which was what he should have done ordinary if instead of eating biscuit while visiting a patient he had paid more attention to me . What's surprising is that on his office door you see a sigh as Dr W.John Zohrab LTD ! STAY AWAY FROM THIS SO CALLED DOCTOR !

I saw Dr Zohrab for a colonoscopy and endoscopy. He was helpful and kind. Both procedures were done at the same time at LGH, and neither was painful due to the medications. The at home prep was the worst part. He did discover a moderate hiatal hernia, which, along with GERD, are causing my bouts of nausea. His office is lovely, and his office person was very efficient and kind.

Dr. Zorhab saved my life. I had Crohn's disease. Recommended a try Remocad and a month later my Crohn's was in remission. That was 7 years ago. He is very knowledgeable, pleasant, easy to talk to and very obliging when it comes to filling prescription renewals. His secretary is the best. I highly recommend Dr. Zohrab.

I asume he is accepting new patients as he is a specialist. You have to get used to his quiet manner & sense of humour.
