Dr. Pahlavani doesn't believe she should examine a patient before she subjects them to unnecessary x-rays. When I objected, having had a full set of x-rays done less than 2 years ago (with perfect results) she lectured me, gave me talking points, and told me that the main reason she wants X-rays is to prevent lawsuits (and I assume, to bill more to insurance). Not the height of patient care.

She didn't listen to me when I tried to tell her important things about my medical history, she just continued to explain and talk over me and give me "Reasons why" I should ignore all my experience living in my own body.

I let her know that the reason I was crying as she cleaned my teeth was because I was angry. Rather than apologize, she continued to explain. It was exhausting, upsetting, and not an experience I'll repeat. Don't go here if you want an empathetic care provider who will listen to you.

I came to Dr. Pahlavani for a second opinion. I had been told that I needed a root canal. Boy am I glad I came to her. Not only did I not need the root canal I had already had other treatments I didn't need! Dr. Pahlavani was great. She's honest and had a great rapport with me. She made me feel completely at ease and was extremely gentle. I have to say it was my best experience at the dentist and for the first time I won't be regretting coming back in 6 months. The staff was great as well and they were punctual. I arrived about 15 minutes early and I was able to be seen before my scheduled time. All in all, it was a great experience.

Dr. Pahlavani is very kind and gentle and quite attractive might I add! I did not expect her to be the dentist when she walked into the room. Anyhow she's a great cosmetic dentist and very very gentle with the needle, probably the least painful injection I've ever had! She's really good at explaining the treatment and why it's needed. I feel safe in her hands and will be recommending her to my friends and family.

Dr. Pahlavani was very knowledgeable in informing of my options and was very thorough. I have a phobia of the dentist and somehow she made me feel completely at ease. I have seen samples of some of her cosmetic work and am excited about her recreating my smile. I would strongly recommend her to anyone who has anxiety or fear of the dentist.

I would highly reccomend this doctor for both adults and children. I took my 2yr old in for her first cleaning and Dr. P was amazing. Ive been to her a few times myself and the friendly staff made things go smoothly as she gave me peace of mind for my procedure.

Best dentist I've ever seen. She is warm, caring, and in it to help the patient. She is professional and very knowledgeable. I would recommend this doctor if you are in search for a dentist.
