I have had previous back issues from the early 80’s. After 2 surgeries and getting older Dr M is doing his very best to keep me going.
He and the staff are exceptional

He refused me care without reviewing my file. Was unaware of major level 5 surgery and MVA. Just assumed I was there for a old condition. Doctors should never just assume,

Couldn't possibly be in better hands anywhere else. This doctor is a magician with pain. Him and his staff are an incredible team and anyone would be lucky to have his care! Someone that actually listens to you and cares.

I have suffered with chronic pain for over 40yrs. and totally 'unheard' until I was referred the pain programme. Dr M is the most caring Dr I have seen in all that time both back in my native England and here in BC. Everyone from the front desk staff members/nurses and Dr Muendel have been amazing.

He has given me 6-monthly steroid epidurals at the Pain Clinic for several years, Always, helpful, friendly, effective.

Good listener, respectful, honest with helpful medical explanations. The staff at the program especially the new OT and head nurse have given me some of the best insights into how to deal with my pain. They clearly explained that they had no cure for chronic pain but would help me cope with it using active therapies as best they could.

Dr. Muendel and I had a phone conversation, then I went to the Pain Clinic for a steroid shot. He was informative, respectful, and precise, and the entire staff there was smart and compassionate.
