I had already consulted many doctors in Mumbai for my joint pain. But my doctors used to get unnerved on seeing no improvement in my condition even after a month's medication. And finally I was suggested to go to Dr. Akerkar and I was surprised not only to see improvements starting from 2nd appointment itself but also to observe that Doctor knew my pain level better than me (in spite of my exaggeration about pain, he didn't get unnerved like others).

I was very desperate, because of this diseases. I had lost confidence and was petrified with this diseases R.A. But because ofthe medication provided by Dr. Akerkar, now have resumed my normal life and my condition is getting better day by day.Thanks to Dr. and his staff for all the help

I donot know how to begin. Despite being fleeced at a nearby clinic,my condition had not improved. Had it not been for him, I would have not been able to walk. Thank you so much Doctor.

This Doctor takes utmost care of all his patients. he is very punctual & prompt. He initiates prompt treatment based on appropriate investigations. His clinic is always crowded coz of his sheer popularity on account of excellent treatment. Eveerything being available under one roof adds to the appeal of this place, aswe as patients donot have to move around for consultation, investigations, medicines etc. An overall pleasant personality with superlative knowledge & commitment.

(1) Insensitive, more interested in wife's associated radiology and pathology businesses than properly advising patients (2) Makes appointments extremely difficult. Informs next follow-up after 7 days, but the receptionist will give an appointment only after 10 days (3) Very extremely cramped clinic with extremely poor ventilation (4) Makes patients wait outside the clinic for more than 1 hour next to an overflowing gutter and millions of flies (5) Grossly misinforms about date of availability of test reports (6) Makes patient wait for 25min to get a receipt for amount paid (7) When complained, has the guts to call back the patient and cancels an appointment saying he can't treat patients with 'negative' attitude. This doctor and his associated pathology & radiology businesses should be disallowed by the municipal health department or/and medical council.
