I was referred to Dr. Tassis for my first colonoscopy and was quite apprehensive about the procedure and its outcome. He immediately put me at ease, answered all my questions, conducted the procedure quickly and painlessly, and followed up with a thorough discussion of his findings and subsequent treatment. I would highly recommend this wonderful, caring physician. He has a rare natural ability to interact with patients in a truly meaningful way.

Over Easter of 2013 I came down with severe abdominal pain. My wife took me to Trillium on Queensway. The diagnosis was an inflamed appendix. The nurses in the emergency were great. And I want to thank Dr Tassis specifically. He had great bed side manner and went out of his way to make me feel comfortable. He ensured that the surgery to remove my appendix was given the highest priority. The surgery was completed without any issues and my recovery was fast and very comfortable. I have nothing but the highest regard for Dr Tassis as well as his associate Dr Cameron Gelder. And of course the nurses of Trillium Health Centre, who were professional, kind, considerate and helpful. I would recommend Trillium to anyone and feel very fortunate to live close to such a professional facility, with such wonderful staff.

I would like to thank Dr. Tassis for his professionalism and perfectionism. Dr. Tassis's quick reaction, perfect diagnosis saved my boyfriend's life. He was the doctor on call when my boyfriend's condition worsen. He immediately informed me that there would have to be second operation. As it turned out, there was a severe infection due to a leak. In addition, to ileostomy he did his best to remove all the fluids inside the body and sent the patient to the ICU. Thanks to his professional reaction, the patient is alive. The recovery may still be long, but at least the patient is with us today. Thanks a lot Dr. Tassis.
