Had 50-yr-old knee injury. Was in constant pain, had to retire. Dr Lai was prompt, attantive, courteous, knowledgeable and a beautiful surgeon. Acar is minimal. Knee was replaced, pain was gone immediately!Best medical move I've ever made!! Wouldn't hesitate to call him again. No, that's not esactly correct. I'd probably INSIST on him.

Could not recommend Dr Lai more. I am very happy with the surgery and the follow up care. One of the best at UTMC. Went in with a broken ankle, left with all fixed up with minimal complications. I saw my dr every appointment. He took the time to explain everything in regards to my care and my injury. I truly felt like I was well taken care of. He was very cautious and never rushed my recovery. My last appointment he took the time to go through all my X-rays from beginning to end. Very happy with my care.

I would recommend Dr. Lai to anyone in need of orthopeadic care. Dr. Lai changed my life when he replaced my knee. It was a very complicated surgery. My knee was severely deformed. I'm so thankful to walk without excessive pain. Dr. Lai is an excellent doctor dedicated to his profession & his patients. He's awesome!

Dr Lai, Hands on, no non sense with patient contact involvement and every step. Entered my life following a thired hip revision that ended in Seven discolutions in two weeks. Dr Lai did surgery using a compliacated prostehic configurarion with 100% success. Zero problems after leaving the hospital three days later and still going strong one year later. First hip replacement in Calif. left me in pain for approximately ten years. No pain or concerns since Dr Lai's surgery. Thanks Dr Lai. Recommened without resveration. Richard H. Liked Dr. Lai from the first time I met him. I have had many doctors over the years and he is one of the best. Great bedside manner and a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommend him. His surgical skills are excellent.

Dr. Lai was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I went to all the appointments and was at the hospital on surgery day for a good friend. He explained everything thoroughly and answered all of our questions. It was a very difficult surgery and Dr. Lai did an excellent job.

Dr Lai didn't help me at all. He did do a minimal evaluation but since my pain isn't completely obvious he was willing to put the effort forth to figure it out. He looked through my CT scan, bone scan, 2 MRI's, and a handful of x-rays in less than 5 minutes. Maybe UTMC should just put in a drive through window for their doctors.
