I had laprocosby surgery with Dr. Cockwell in 2022. I was told by AART and Dr. Cockwell that she had excision experience. Unfortunately an incredible amount of deeply infiltrating Endometriosis was left behind. She also used ablation because she said it will preserve my egg follicles for fertility. After further research, that is not true. An skilled excision surgeon could preserve your ovaries even with endometriomas. After never having any pain relief and my symptoms getting worse, I ended up going to another country for surgery. There I found out I also had Adenomyosis which is a condition that treat effects your fertility and causes miscarriages. Dr. Cockwell told me my uterus looked great! I think she is a nice doctor but I don't believe she should be treating patients with endo or other sister pelvic diseases.

Dr Heather was extremely kind and compassionate. She walked me through the procedure ( lap) with extra care and took the time to ensure I understood what was happening. If you are in her care , you are in good and trusted hands.

Delivered my first baby, who had cardic issues and she always kept me at ease. Would highly recommend her to any women, shes amazingly caring and helpful. She always wants you to be comfortable.

I’m surprised at the 4.6 rating. She’s a lovely, friendly person but missed a lot of stuff following my pregnancy. I had complications and it was another doctor who had picked up on blood tests missed, as well as my GGT test which they did several weeks late.. It was my first pregnancy, so I trusted her and should of questioned more in hind sight. She rushes the appointments and is constantly over booked. Also, bring a good book or phone because you can expect at least an hours wait, as the clinic is always behind.

She was my doctor for almost 10 years and she is the best of the best. Unfortunately she moved to Saskatchewan and I will have to find another ginecologist. Excellent professional and person .

I would rate her -5/5 as she is the worst doctor ever . She’s incompetent, has no knowledge and has no right to play with her patients lives. She’s a liar. She misdiagnosed my problem, did my surgery and failed miserably and instead of admitting her mistake she kept denying and giving me false information. I had to go to the states for second opinion and that’s where I found out that she did a wrong surgery on me. I strongly urge not to go to her as she will destroy your chances of concievejng

Dr. Cockwell did an emergency c-section for me and did a phenomenal one at that! Her bedside manner is impeccable and her cut was very clean. She explained everything thoroughly and put me at ease throughout the entire procedure. I am so glad I walked into the hospital the day she was on-call. Hoping that I get that lucky second time around.
