It is unfortunate that I have to give such a terrible rating to a good doctor. However, this is the second time I have scheduled a phone appointment for the follow up to my coloscopy and again failure to call. I was told that my number was blocked however I can see blocked calls on my cell. No call was ever made. When I called the office to followed up the staff member who took my call argued with me instead of owning up to to the fact the call was never made. I rescheduled another phone appointment this time on my home Lan line.. Again no call. There seems to be no accountability on this doctors or his staffs' part to respect patients time. I have to wonder if the province is being billed for these phantom phone appointments. I wont be following up again. I find the staff to be very rude and condescending when I called them. I'm sure they will have another excuse for not calling my Lan line telling me I didn't answer or it was blocked when I was home right by my phone all afternoon waiting....

Dr. Kottachchi is the whole package. Not only does he heal your body from the inside, he also cares and listens to his patients. He is kind, warm and very easy to talk to. His receptionist is the same. They are one team I would recommend to anyone looking for a gastroenterologist.
