Dr Spector is a 'top pick' for insurance companies looking to minimize your injuries. He does a lot of work for disability insurance companies and for those defending personal injury claims. That makes him neither "good" nor "bad" per se, but the insurance companies wouldn't keep using him if he gave them bad "results."

Met with him years ago. Had the same terrible experience as other raters here. But these reviews probably insure his paycheck from insurance companies. See other reviews for details. So we're probably not helping anyone

This guy is a total insurance stooge and a lazy one at that. Here is what a judge said about him recently

The court finds that Dr. Spector’s testimony was not credible. Dr.
Spector did not review all the medical records and appeared to
have formed a conclusion without consulting all the relevant
evidence. In a separate case, Dr. Spector’s testimony was found by
another court to be “highly suspect.” United States v. Davis, 611
F. Supp. 2d 472, 499 (D. Md. 2009). “The Court finds [Dr.
Spector’s] analysis conclusory, unduly dismissive of the wealth of
information contained in the voluminous historical records, and
methodologically unsound.” Id.

Sucks...he is the worst!!! He was late, rude, and he is working for the insurance company. You could have a railroad spike going though your head and he'd say "you're fine." Scum of the Earth!

I CANNOT UNDERSTAND THE OTHER REVIEWS THAT STATE HOW HORRIBLE THIS DOCTOR IS, YET STILL GIVE HIM MORE THAN THE LOWEST RATING.

Dr. Spector met me for the insurance company and made up some BS diagnosis essentially saying that despite having a terminal condition; partial paralysis; partial blindness and other OBJECTIVELY diagnosed conditions, and by REAL MEDICAL Drs. (not a BS PhD). He did this working FOR insurance co., to try and limit my claim. However, my real doctors countered to destroy this SCAM of a professional and human being. A warm place in Hell is awaiting him, where all the insurance company money in the world will do no good. Run!!! And if insurance co. sends you there, know that no matter what, he doesn't care and will lie to say you're fine, when you're not. This Jack-Ass is straight from Hell where he will one day spend eternity.

This "professional" was rude, insensitive, demeaning, accusatory, and asked questions irrelevant to my reason for seeing a counselor. In his formal report and findings he had false information about the assault I encountered at work, demeaned and discredited the full qualifications of the counselor I was seeing, and gave false testimony regarding the type of diagnosis my counselor was treating me with despite having records that indicated otherwise, as well as discredited the counseling practice I was getting (EMDR). He should not be in the business of diagnosing, mentally helping, or determining the well being of others, as his professional findings were blatantly falsely fraudulent. His license should be called into practice.

Patient referrals come from a company MES a so called independent organization the insurance companies use for independent medical reviews to determine if benefits are to be continued. This is to make things look like there is no bias. But, belive me, this guy is a hired gun. Spent 10 minutes with me, then his masters level associate did all the testing. She didnt introduce herself, nor explained her role in the process, let alone talk to me other than to say try harder. The data was interpreted by a PhD, but the overall assessment of interaction was made by a young woman, I'd say 30 ish, at a maters level. I expected at least testing with a phd. Most non personal interaction i have ever had. The only person he was out to help was the insurance company and his pocket.
