Patrick Ryan is absolutely the worst of several psychologists whom I've seen for depression and anxiety. Compared to other therapists, his theoretical knowledge is quite dated, and his recommendations for dealing with anxiety literally harmed me. His advice set my life on a damaging course. Don't repeat my mistake. There are plenty of therapists out there. It may be hard to find the perfect therapist, but just about all of them are better than this guy.
