I would not recommend this doctor to any of my friends. He did not communicate his OV findings nor my blood test results (as requested) to my internist and gastroenterologist for the 4 + years I was seeing him. He knew I had NAFLD when I started the Tamoxifen treatment. He NEVER brought up any blood test results during my visits, so I assumed they were acceptable. It wasn't until my gastroenterologist noticed a decline in my red platelet count that I was made aware that Dr. Bhatt had not been sending his test results to my other doctors. Those results also showed a change in my blood chemistry. I was sent for a liver biopsy and it was determined that the Tamoxifen was causing a toxic reation in my body and my NAFLD had progressed to cirrhosis. I immediately stopped the Tamoxifen and now feel better. This doctor will keep a patient waiting while he visits with employees outside the exam room. The staff does a lot of chatting while the patient waits!
