Dr chudik wasted my time for a few years on my kneee problem . He waited so long to do anything when I went for my last mri and X-rays . He says that my knees were way worse and the surgery probably won’t help me .

I had a wonderful experience at the office of Dr. Steven Chudik. I went to see him for a torn rotator cuff and bicep repair. He has a friendly but professional demeanor. I found him to be extremely knowledgeable and willing to answer all of my questions with patience. He was able to easily calm my fears regarding surgery. His staff are highly capable and very pleasant. Based on his impressive credentials and how well my surgery and recovery proceeded, I believe he is an extremely skilled surgeon. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Chudik repaired my shoulder from an injury. He is conservative and does not rush your recovery. He explains and gives options and allows you to decide your plan of care.

I wish I didn't have to rate. 10 years ago I was having pain near my knee. He ordered a MRI. Said it was my IT Band and I needed surgery. Which I stupidly agreed to without a second opinion, my mistake. After surgery with no improvement and damage now to a nerve I find out no one has done this surgery in 25 years. He was padding his pocket. Fast forward 10 years. The pain is bad, I limp and my leg is an 1 inch longer now. I see a doc and they find a tumor - Synovial Sarcoma - CANCER. I get the 10 year old MRI, and it shows and is reported that there are 2 cysts where the now tumor is. He NEVER mentioned, even when asked, there were cysts or masses. The Lord protected me and the cancer didn't spread. After chemo, radiation and surgery to remove the tumor, I don't have a limp, no more pain, leg is not longer any longer. If it had spread it would have killed me. I don't know how this doctor lives with himself. I've heard so many horrible stories about him. Run, run fast!

I had a very serious fracture of the glenoid and scapula from a car accident. A trauma surgeon recommended opening up the shoulder to repair it because it would be too complicated to do arthroscopically. Dr. Chudik was not only able to repair the fracture arthroscopically (saving me considerable pain and months of therapy) but within 3 months, I was pain free and had regained full range of motion. It is as if the accident never happened. I would go to him for any joint injury.

Dr Chudik is a very talented surgeon. He has a genuine care for his patients. He's very thorough and takes the time to communicate everything so there are no questions. I feel so lucky to have found him! I had 2 torn tendons in my shoulder and a ruptured bicep.. He repaired me arthroscopically, and I have made a full recovery and I am on my way back to what I love doing.. Triathlon. Thank you Doctor for Everything!!

Dr. Chudik has treated me for multiple sports-related and other injuries since 2004. Dr. Chudik has performed surgery to repair both left and right torn rotator cuffs due to sport-related injuries (one included a biceps repair). More recently, after a fall, I suffered a complete rupture of a triceps tendon and Dr. Chudik surgically reattached the tendon. Dr. Chudik and his team have always provided the highest level of care during the surgical and post-surgical stages, explaining the procedure and what to expect. Most importantly, there is a high degree of coordination between Dr. Chudik, his surgical team and the Hinsdale Orthopedic physical therapy staff. At five months after triceps reattachment, I have recovered full ROM, returned to normal activities and expect to recover full strength. I would not hesitate to return to Dr. Chudik in the event of a further injury.
