He reattached my bicep tendon to my elbow area. Had surgery April 27 and feel great and released back to work the end of august. My arm feels great now.

Dr. Burra and his staff have taken care of my knee as well as my shoulder and have gotton me back to what I was doing prior to my injuries. Very professional, wouldn't let anyone else operate on me.

To say Dr Burra is the best at what he does is an understatement. I had a very bad, botched rotator cuff surgery by my first workman's com doctor that left my shoulder not working and unable to lift my arm. Dr Burra was able to go back into my shoulder, do a rare reconstructive surgery. Right from the start he was able to explain what he was going to have to do to get my shoulder back to working again. He set all my worries at ease while explaining it. Coming out this life changing surgery for me has put me back to a normal life where before that was all but gone. I cannot ever thank him and his enough, for all they did to help me. The entire staff within his office are also at a grand level with the kindness they have shown towards me and what I was going through. They also deserve a thank you for doing what they do. In 54 years of my life. This by far I would say was the best experience in having to go to a doctor for me. Thank you again for all you have done. It won't ever be forgotten. Dr. Burra has great reviews because he’s the best! Surgery is not easy and it’s not fun to recover from. He doesn’t do unnecessary procedures and offers conservative treatment options before recommending surgery, if it applies to you. I had shoulder surgery with him and my shoulder is great now. He and his staff are outstanding, understanding, patient and intelligent. I never had a worry when I decided to proceed with surgery. I always felt comfortable and knew I was in the best hands!

Dr. Burra and his staff are top notch. I went to two other providers before going with Dr Burra. The two other surgeons want to do a complete replacement. Dr. Burra and his team agreed the wasn't necessary and repaired only what was damaged.
The Dr. and his team fixed my left shoulder so well. I had him repair my right shoulder. I WILL NOT HAVE ANYONE ELSE TOUCH MY SHOULDERS.

My wife, a physical therapist unequivocally recommended Dr. Burra for my shoulder surgery. Over the course of many years, she treated many of his post-surgical patients. I didn't believe my daughter's pain. We were referred to Dr. Burra. He immediately diagnosed her injury as real. He worked around her school schedule and successfully repaired it. He got her back to lifeguarding so she can work to pay for college. Great communicator p clear and real! He believes in his patients and they believe in him. Thank you Dr. Burra.

Dr Burra was recommended to me by my son, who is a PT and had shoulder surgery with Dr Burra. Dr Burra and his team were very good at explaining things, answering my questions, and being accessible when needed. I was having issues with both shoulders, so he treat my right shoulder before operating on my left. I’m 72 and five months after surgery I’m again fully functional with no pain thanks to Dr Burra. I highly recommend him

I can highly recommend Dr. Burra and his team for orthopedic surgery. Pre and post op care was highly informative and thorough. I had a complete understanding of to expect during each phase with high attention to details. I will seek his advice for any future needs.

Dr. Burra fixed my rotator cuff. I found his surgical skill outstanding as well as all staff I encountered in his office. The rehab facility he is associated with, Illinois Bone and Joint institute, were fantastic.
