I was in excruciating pain for 2 years. The VA and other spine doctors said surgery wasn't needed and to just deal with the pain. My pain Dr. referred me to Dr. Darwish who actually listened to me and said the only way I would feel better was to have surgery. He fused my L5S1 on November 9th, 2020. Two days after surgery was the 1st time in two years I didn't want ro cry from nerve pain in my legs and feet when I stood up. I really don't think I could have kept on living in the pain I was in. Dr. Darwish made my life so much better.

This doctor is a miracle.. when I saw him two weeks post spinal fusion surgery because of severe spinal stenosis I said “thank you” and he said “ for what? “. For giving me my live back!!! He’s so humble and kind. For what he did for me which is make my life pain free, I am forever grateful! Also he has an incredible team of PA’s with him.

Incredible surgeon and team! From beginning to end, the team made feel comfortable, they are all knowledgeable and explain every step of the way! I dealt with severe back pain in L5-S1 for 5 years and am currently in recovery from a MAS TLIF insertion and spinal fusion. I am so excited to have my life back! Dr. Darwish has no idea the quality of life he has given back to me and i am forever grateful!

I initially contacted Dr. Darwish last year due to hip, glute, leg, lower back pain and impaired nerve function. I was diagnosed with severe arthritis and spinal stenosis. After conservative measures were unsuccessful, I had a laminectomy on 07/08/20. I am now totally pain free, have improved nerve function, and basically have my life back! A big thank you to Dr. Darwish and his wonderful team! One addition: I saw Dr. Darwish at Hinsdale Orthopedics in Hinsdale, IL

Dr Darwish is an excellent surgeon. His whole team is awesome. He treats you the way every doctor should treat their patients. He performed an L4-L5 fusion on me. I'm 6 weeks post-op and have no pain. I would highly recommend Dr Darwish.
