First off, they sent me paperwork clearly for a cancer patient, I was here for a hematology issue. I understand where I was going, but it's a bit disturbing to send me stuff with cancer all over it. Even their welcome letter thanked me for getting care there for my cancer diagnosis. The reminder call I got also gave me the wrong time! It stated an hour after my original time. His nurse Judy, roomed me, she was the highlight of my visit that day. She was very nice, and took interest in me as a patient. After she left the room, I waited for a bit, pretty normal when you visit a doctor. Then he called out his nurse, and asked why I was here. He said out loud, she is not suppose to be here. Awkward....he walked in and introduced himself, and asked why I was here.I said why, and he said who told you this? You don't have that. He explained what I had, and basically told me I had to live with it. Nothing can be done, and said I should be happy I am the healthiest, he's seen today. No bueno!

In visiting the office for the first time, I checked in 15 minutes ahead of schedule and was told to wait. After 45 minutes waiting, I finally asked what the problem was, only to have the receptionist tell me to go downstairs. It seems like the staff could have headed that off before I waited. When I got to the right office, the doctor was apparently as exasperated as I was. Only, he parlayed his frustration into terrible, flippant care. Rather than giving me any information about my condition and what I could do, he told me to be "glad you're in better health than most of the other people in the waiting room with cancer." I guess he decided that by looking at me? He certainly didn't perform any tests. How that helps in any constructive way is beyond me. I subsequently got more information about my diagnosis via a Google Search than in my time with him.

Great doctor, amazing staff, amazing care. I have not been an easy case by any means, and they've been nothing but kind, loving, and give me so much hope that things will be ok . . . they were the first people I met when I came to Seattle, and they not only saved my body, but my heart and soul too. I cannot rate them highly enough. I have been impressed with Swedish hospitals all over, and Dr Milder and his team even more so.

very friendly and courteous staff. Made me feel welcome and answered my questions even though some may have been ridiculous. Appreciated the fact that I could email the doctor or nurse if I need to after my appointment.
